Tay Ninh Poetry Club: Spreading love of poetry to the community

Attending the event were Colonel, artist Tran Minh Han - President of Vietnam Poetry Club; Colonel, poet Duong Xuan Linh - Vice President of Vietnam Poetry Club in charge of the Southern region.

With the theme “Aspiration for poets”, the exchange program attracted a large number of members of cultural and artistic clubs in and outside the province to attend. At the program, many poetry recitals, singing and dancing performances praising the Party, Uncle Ho, the image of Uncle Ho’s soldiers, love for the homeland, country and Vietnamese people were invested in and carefully prepared by the members, contributing to creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere for the exchange.

Tay Ninh Poetry Love Club was established in September 2022, chaired by poet and artist Lam Binh - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam Poetry Club in Ho Chi Minh City. Currently, the club has nearly 1,000 members on social networks and 30 regular members; members are mainly retired officials, civil servants or those working in the field of culture and arts.

During 3 years of operation, the Club launched many creative movements, published poetry works and organized many exchanges with other clubs in and outside the province.

As a result, many of the Club's works and poetry collections were published, licensed for publication, and were honored with 5 Golden Plaques of Honor, 14 commemorative medals, 10 certificates of merit, and excellent emulation flags by the Vietnam Poetry Club. Notably, in 2024, the Club excellently won the Gold Medal at the National Poetry Performance Festival in the Southern region.

On this occasion, the Vietnam Poetry Club awarded 2 Golden Plaques to honor poets with achievements in building and developing the Vietnam Poetry Club in 2025; 15 commemorative medals "For the cause of Vietnamese Poetry" to members of the Tay Ninh Poetry Love Club and the Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Poetry Club.

Tay Ninh Poetry Club also announced the decision to admit new members; Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam Poetry Club announced and awarded the decision to establish two affiliated poetry clubs./.
