On the morning of February 6th, the Ministry of Justice held its regular press conference and a meeting with journalists and reporters from various media outlets to celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Horse 2026.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Justice Nguyen Thanh Tinh stated that in 2025, the domestic and international context presented many complex developments, with numerous demands and challenges. However, under the leadership of the Party, the decisive direction of the Government and the Prime Minister , the coordination and cooperation of agencies and units, and the unity, effort, and high determination of all officials, civil servants, and employees, the Ministry of Justice has successfully completed its assigned tasks.
Specifically, it has chaired the process of advising the Politburo to issue Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW; advised the Government to submit to the National Assembly the Law on the Promulgation of Legal Normative Documents (amended) with groundbreaking and comprehensively innovative provisions; advised on the issuance of Resolution No. 197/2025/QH15 on some special mechanisms and policies to create breakthroughs in the development and organization of law enforcement, and Resolution 206/2025/QH15 on special mechanisms to handle difficulties and obstacles caused by current legal provisions with "unprecedented" policies.
At the same time, the agency effectively fulfilled its role as the Standing Agency assisting the Central Steering Committee on institutional and legal reform and the Government's Steering Committee on reviewing and organizing the implementation of solutions to obstacles in the legal system. Notably, it chaired and coordinated the implementation of many comprehensive and in-depth reviews of legal documents. Through these reviews, institutional "bottlenecks," obstacles, and overlaps in legal regulations were identified and addressed promptly...
Furthermore, state management in the fields of civil enforcement, administrative enforcement, judicial assistance, judicial administration, legal aid, registration of security measures, state compensation, management and handling of administrative violations, international cooperation, etc., continues to be strengthened.
"All the above results have directly contributed to the socio-economic development achievements, ensuring national defense and security, guaranteeing human rights and civil rights; contributing to affirming the position and role of judicial work in the political, economic and social life of the country," Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Tinh emphasized.
Along with the comprehensive implementation of all areas of work, in recent times, the work of spokesperson and providing information to the press by the Ministry and the Justice sector has been increasingly emphasized and strengthened. Media and the press serve as a "bridge" to bring the activities of the Ministry and the Justice sector closer and faster to the people and businesses.

At the same time, through the press, the difficulties, obstacles, and shortcomings of the legal system and the organization of law enforcement have been reflected, helping the Ministry of Justice to promptly grasp social realities. From there, it can provide appropriate and timely advice, handling, and policy responses.
"The coordination and collaboration of news agencies, press, journalists, and reporters have effectively promoted the professional work of the sector, especially the task of advising the Government in the development and implementation of laws," Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Tinh emphasized.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Thanh Tinh expressed his hope to continue receiving the cooperation and support of the press in fulfilling his assigned functions and tasks. He also requested that in the future, news agencies and the press continue to focus on disseminating information and promoting outstanding events, positive examples, good deeds, and exemplary individuals in the construction, organization, and implementation of laws, in order to spread positive values and the spirit of "respect for the rule of law" among the people, creating a driving force to further improve the country's construction and protection efforts.
