
Tran Viet Long was deeply influenced by the "IT knight" Nguyen Cong Hung, from then on he devoted himself to learning programming and pursuing his dream of living independently and usefully.
From a rural boy on the banks of the Red River, Tran Viet Long made efforts to study and overcome his inferiority complex to become one of the first disabled people in Vietnam to study and teach in the field of information technology.
In the program “Love Station” with the theme “Step to the Future”, the audience will listen to Long’s special journey from a boy who could only work with one hand to a young lecturer who inspires the disabled community. Long was deeply influenced by “IT knight” Nguyen Cong Hung, from which he devoted himself to learning programming and pursuing his dream of living independently and usefully.

Long is currently a coach for the Vietnamese disabled team. He volunteers to instruct skills for international contestants without receiving any remuneration.
He has brought home many international achievements: Third prize at GITC 2022 (China), Second prize at GITC 2023 (UAE), and two consecutive years of honor at the Global IT Challenge 2023 and 2024. The program also brought an emotional moment when teacher Vu Phong Ky - Long's mentor - suddenly appeared and sent congratulations to his former student.
