Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court Nguyen Van Quang visits and presents Tet gifts in Lam Dong.

On February 8th, Comrade Nguyen Van Quang, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, led a delegation from the Central Committee to visit, extend New Year greetings, and present gifts to disadvantaged households, policy beneficiary families, social welfare facilities, and armed forces in Lam Dong province, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2026 (Year of the Horse).

Comrade Nguyen Van Quang, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, and other delegates attended the program.

Comrade Pham Thi Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province; Comrade Le Tien, Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court; and Comrade Nguyen Van Thanh, Provincial Party Committee member and Chief Justice of the Lam Dong Provincial People's Court, attended the program.

Joining the delegation were the Deputy Chief Justices of the Supreme People's Court; and leaders of the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee, Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Representing Lam Dong province were Ms. Pham Thi Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, along with leaders of the Provincial People's Council and People's Committee, and representatives from relevant departments and agencies.

Comrade Le Tien, Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court, and Comrade Nguyen Van Thanh, Head of the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, presented gifts to people in difficult circumstances on the occasion of the 2026 Lunar New Year in Lam Dong.

In the warm atmosphere of the days leading up to Tet (Lunar New Year), the delegation visited and extended New Year greetings to the People's Committees of Ta Hine Commune, Lac Duong Commune, and Xuan Truong Ward in Da Lat. There, Comrade Nguyen Van Quang personally presented 600 Tet gifts to poor households, households with difficult circumstances, and vulnerable people in society.

Showing thoughtful concern for the lives, production, and living conditions of the people, the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court expressed his hope that the families would continue to strive for improvement, actively engage in production, strictly abide by the Party's guidelines and policies, and the laws of the State, and work together to build an increasingly developed locality.

Comrade Nguyen Van Quang also acknowledged and commended the spirit of unity and consensus among the people in implementing major policies of the Central and local authorities, especially in the work of reorganizing administrative units, contributing to building a strong and effective grassroots political system.

Next, the delegation visited and presented gifts to several exemplary families receiving preferential treatment in Duc Trong commune and Lam Vien ward - Da Lat. At each family, Comrade Nguyen Van Quang cordially inquired about their health and living conditions, expressing deep gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of previous generations in the struggle for national liberation and the protection of the Fatherland.

On the same day, the delegation visited the SOS Children's Village in Da Lat, presenting gifts to 87 children and 13 foster mothers. The Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court encouraged the children to strive in their studies and training, to have faith in the future, and expressed his hope that the staff of the Children's Village would continue to dedicate their efforts and responsibility to caring for, nurturing, and creating the best conditions for the children's comprehensive development.

During his visit to extend New Year greetings to the Army Academy, Comrade Nguyen Van Quang congratulated the Academy on its outstanding achievements over its 80 years of development and growth. He affirmed the Academy's particularly important role in training and developing high-quality officers for the Vietnam People's Army.
