Chanh Thu reaches export level with DuriVy frozen durian

The year 2025 continues to mark a strong mark of Chanh Thu Fruit Import-Export Group Joint Stock Company (Chanh Thu Group) in the international market.

"In just the first 10 months of the year, Chanh Thu's export turnover increased by about 20% compared to the same period in 2024, with tens of thousands of tons of fresh and frozen fruits exported to more than 20 countries and territories," said Ms. Ngo Tuong Vy, General Director of Chanh Thu Group.

In particular, the US, China and Australia markets continue to be the main destinations, affirming Chanh Thu's position as one of the leading fruit exporting enterprises in Vietnam.

According to Ms. Tuong Vy, currently the factory system located in Ben Tre, Dak Lak, Nha Trang, Tien Giang and Dong Nai is operating at full capacity, with a supply capacity of up to 300,000 tons of products/year, meeting the strict requirements of high-end markets.

Sharing about the strategy to enhance the value of Vietnamese fruits, Ms. Tuong Vy said that Chanh Thu is having many activities to introduce the special product DuriVy whole frozen durian - a high-end product line that meets the national 5-star OCOP standard (recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on July 4, 2024).

Accordingly, the preservation technology applies liquid nitrogen freezing technology at -196 degrees Celsius to help freeze durian quickly, preserving all nutrients, color and natural flavor.

Regarding product specifications, durian is packaged whole and vacuum-sealed, ensuring that its rich, fatty flavor and characteristic aroma are retained after defrosting.

Chanh Thu focuses on the United States and China as the main export markets for this product, with plans to expand to Korea and Europe.

Currently, DuriVy frozen whole durian has met FSSC 22000, FDA, HALAL, HACCP standards, ensuring food hygiene and safety and clear traceability.

Besides DuriVy durian, Chanh Thu also owns many other fruit products such as Hoa Loc mango, rambutan, jackfruit, avocado and dragon fruit, both fresh and frozen, serving the export market.

Not only stopping at export, in 2025-2026 Chanh Thu aims to develop more domestic market, especially in Hanoi and big cities, where consumers are increasingly interested in high quality products, meeting international standards and with clear traceability.

At the exhibition booth, DuriVy and Dona fresh whole durian products attracted special attention from visitors and domestic and foreign partners.

We hope not only to export more, but also to bring internationally-standard products directly to Vietnamese consumers."
