Speaking at the courtesy visit, comrade Tran Manh Hung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province expressed his pleasure at welcoming the delegation to attend the Lai Chau Tourism - Culture Week 2025. He emphasized that over the years, the friendly and cooperative relationship between Lai Chau province (Vietnam) and Yunnan province (China) has been continuously strengthened and developed through the two sides regularly exchanging delegations to participate in cultural and tourism exchange activities at events organized by both sides.

Comrade Tran Manh Hung - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lai Chau province informed about the results of the memorandums of understanding on cooperation in culture and tourism between the two sides with Director of the Department of Culture and Tourism Chau Hong Ha Trieu Vy.

Based on the signed memorandums of understanding on cross-border tourism cooperation and promoting cooperation in cultural and tourism development, comrade Tran Manh Hung hopes that in the coming time, the cooperation between the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lai Chau province and the Department of Culture and Tourism of Hong Ha Chau and Kim Binh district will be further strengthened, especially in cultural, sports and tourism activities; organizing art troupes to visit and perform on the occasion of the anniversaries of the two localities. The two sides will coordinate together to organize survey teams and build tours connecting destinations of Lai Chau province (Vietnam) with Hong Ha Chau, Yunnan province (China) and vice versa. Creating conditions for tourism businesses to survey the market and open representative offices in each locality.

Expressing his joy when coming to Lai Chau province for the first time, Comrade Trieu Vy - Director of the Department of Culture and Tourism of Chau Hong Ha thanked the leaders of Lai Chau province for their warm and friendly welcome, especially the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province; and was excited to see the appearance of Lai Chau increasingly developing. Comrade Trieu Vy hopes that in the coming time, tourism companies of the two sides will have more exchanges to connect and build tourism tours between Lai Chau province (Vietnam) and Chau Hong Ha (Yunnan province, China).

On this occasion, leaders of the two sides gave each other gifts of local specialties.
