Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Ngo Thi Thuy Duong, Head of the Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter Management Board, said: "The art exhibition titled 'Greeting the Year of the Horse 2026' is a cultural highlight within the series of events 'Vietnamese Tet - Street Tet 2026' - a key program that the Hoan Kiem Lake and Hanoi Old Quarter Management Board has always diligently maintained to preserve and promote traditional cultural values and create a spring outing space for the people of Hanoi."

Ms. Ngo Thi Thuy Duong shared: "At the Hanoi Old Quarter Cultural Exchange Center (50 Dao Duy Tu, Hanoi), the public not only sees a painting but also admires vivid glimpses of love for the Vietnamese Tet holiday. In particular, I was impressed by how the artists recreated the beauty of the highland villages of Northwest Vietnam, where plum blossoms, peach blossoms, peaceful houses, and the image of the Year of the Horse leisurely strolling in the meadows blend together to create a symphony of colors, conveying a message of hope and a prosperous new beginning…"

"With the mission of transforming the Hanoi Old Quarter Cultural Exchange Center into a place for the convergence and dissemination of artistic values, the exhibition not only honors the creativity of artists but also raises community awareness in appreciating the spiritual values of Tet," said Ms. Ngo Thi Thuy Duong.
The exhibition "Greeting the Year of the Horse 2026" offers a diverse perspective through the artwork of a group of four artists: Nguyen Ngoc Binh, Dang Thanh Duong, Nguyen Quy Duong, and Nguyen Ngoc Phuong.

The exhibition features nearly 100 emotionally rich paintings. Each artwork is a gateway to a unique spring world , promising viewers a journey through vibrant colors, subtle emotions, and wishes for a peaceful and fortunate start to the new year.

Speaking on behalf of the group of artists, artist Nguyen Ngoc Binh shared: "Our exhibition features four artists of different ages, from different hometowns, using different art materials and having different painting styles. Some are strong and intense, others gentle and serene, but all share a passion for creating beauty in life through brushstrokes and profound, impressive colors to celebrate the beauty of nature and people across the country."
Through the exhibition "Greeting the Year of the Horse 2026," the organizers also hope to spread fresh colors into the heart of the Old Quarter heritage area, showcasing the beauty of the Year of the Horse spring and honoring the cultural values of Hanoi, the thousand-year-old capital city.
