Huge fire at packaging factory in Vinh Phuc, hundreds of people evacuated their property

The fire broke out at around 9pm on July 4. The fire quickly engulfed the entire packaging factory in Trung Nhi ward, Phuc Yen city.

Immediately after receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police of Vinh Phuc province mobilized more than 10 fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire.

At 10:40 p.m., the fire was still raging in the factory area, threatening to spread to the row of houses next door. Hundreds of residents, along with police and soldiers, evacuated belongings and property from the houses to the opposite side of the road to prevent the fire from spreading.

The leader of Trung Nhi ward said that there have been no recorded casualties, and firefighting efforts were difficult due to the flammable objects and high heat inside.

Authorities are trying to control the fire and prevent it from spreading.
