At around 8:30 p.m. on December 16, a large fire broke out in a 4-story townhouse in lane 281, Truong Dinh Street (Tuong Mai Ward, Hoang Mai District, Hanoi ). The fire was raging and showed signs of spreading to the house next door. Immediately after that, the residents reported the incident to the local authorities.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Hoang Mai District Police dispatched 3 fire trucks and Hai Ba Trung District Police dispatched 2 vehicles with many officers and soldiers to support the rescue and fire fighting.
By about 9:30 p.m., the fire was basically extinguished, and there were no casualties. The fire had spread smoke to the house next door.
Authorities are currently assessing property damage and investigating the cause of the fire.
