Fire at coffee shop in Vinh Loc residential area, customers panicked and ran away

On the morning of December 2, a fire broke out at a coffee shop at the intersection of Road 3 and Road 4, Vinh Loc Residential Area (Binh Tan Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), causing many customers sitting inside to panic and run outside.

According to some witnesses, the fire broke out in the bar's preparation area, quickly spread to the tarpaulin cover and spread to the adjacent restaurant. At that time, both establishments had customers so everyone had to quickly escape. The on-site force used a mini fire extinguisher to initially put out the fire and moved the furniture out, at the same time reporting to the authorities.

Upon receiving the news, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Team of Area 9 dispatched many fire trucks to the scene to put out the fire. The road near the scene was blocked by the police to ensure the operation of specialized vehicles.

After about 20 minutes, the fire was under control. Because the smoke was still smoldering, the fire department continued to spray water to cool it down and prevent the fire from re-igniting. The fire did not cause any human casualties, but many properties inside the cafe were damaged.
