How much does the hotel charge for early check in and late check out?

If I request an early check-in and a late check-out at the same time, will I be charged an extra night at the hotel?

Because the flight to Nha Trang we booked has an inconvenient time, arriving early and returning late, we plan to request an early check-in and a late check-out. So if I request the same for a hotel booking at the same time, is it possible? Will the fee be charged as for an extra night?
