This information was confirmed by coach Enzo Maresca at a press conference before round 13 on the evening of November 28 (Vietnam time).
When asked if Cole Palmer is fit enough to be named in the squad and start the match against Arsenal, coach Maresca frankly said: "He is ready for both. There are no other problems, another player, Dario Essugo, participated in training this morning (November 28), so Chelsea has two good news" - Mr. Maresca added.
Palmer's return is essential for Chelsea as they face direct title rivals Arsenal.
Palmer is the maestro of Chelsea's attacking play, who led The Blues (Chelsea's nickname) to the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. However, coach Maresca is not in the habit of using players who have just returned from injury in a hurry.
