According to a representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Public Transport Management Center, the transport company that won the bid to operate 17 bus routes connecting to the stations of Metro Line 1 is Phuong Trang Futabuslines Passenger Transport Joint Stock Company. This company has invested in all means of transport, electric buses, to serve Metro passengers.

Electric buses on 17 passenger routes will be easily identified through their own, characteristic colors, harmoniously displayed like the public passenger transport system by bus (blue), Metro line No. 1 (blue and white), the main color of Thu Duc City (yellow, image of sunflowers), and also green, showing the direction towards green, environmentally friendly vehicles. The exterior color of the electric buses is stylized into wavy lines, route numbers and route names with LED lights on the front and back of the vehicle... helping passengers to easily identify.
Electric buses on all 17 routes are synchronized with modern equipment, have their own specific maps and routes on the bus. The information is also clearly displayed on information boards at stations and bus stops for passengers to easily follow and avoid getting on the wrong bus.
In addition, when officially operating, passengers can also view information on the Go!Bus app, which displays pick-up times and running times accurately, as well as use the automatic payment system with many diverse forms such as via banking apps, magnetic cards, etc.

Initially, the supplier will put into use 150 electric buses and has built 2 electric charging stations for buses in Thu Duc City and organized maintenance activities at these stations. In the coming time, the company will continue to put in 250 more electric buses to serve passengers on this Metro line.
17 electric bus routes connecting to Metro Line 1 are numbered from 153 to 169. Specifically:
Route 153 : Binh An boat - Lien Phuong road (connecting An Phu station);
Route 154 : Thanh My Loi Residential Area - Masteri An Phu (connecting Rach Chiec station, An Phu station).
Route 155 : Saigon Bus Station - City Theater (connecting Ben Thanh station and City Theater station, Ba Son station);
Route 156 : Saigon Bus Station - Hoa Hung Station (connecting Ben Thanh Station);
Route 157 : Van Thanh bus station - Duc Khai apartment building (connecting Thao Dien station); Route 158 : Van Thanh bus station - Thanh Da apartment building (connecting Tan Cang station);
Route 159 : Ngo Tat To Apartment - Hang Xanh Intersection (connecting Van Thanh station);
Route 160 : Van Thanh Station - Vinhomes Central Park (connecting Van Thanh Station);
Route 161 : Van Thanh Bus Station - Nga Tu Ga Bus Station (connecting Tan Cang station);
