According to Mr. Nguyen Hai, the ancient apricot tree, approximately 70 years old, has been collected, cared for, and shaped by him for over a year. Mr. Hai is offering the 70-year-old apricot tree for sale at a price of 600-700 million VND. The tree's true value, if found with the right connoisseur, could reach billions of VND due to its rarity and unique appearance.

"This apricot blossom tree is old and very beautiful. To match its beauty, I had to invest in intricately carved pots, each costing between 12 and 15 million VND. These beautiful pots contribute to increasing the tree's value," Mr. Hai shared.

This year, Mr. Hai brought about 12 high-quality apricot blossom trees to the flower market, all carefully selected with ages ranging from 30 to 70 years. He affirmed his professional philosophy: he only sells trees with beautiful, unique shapes and does not sell small or mass-produced trees.

"Customers buy them to decorate their homes for Tet (Lunar New Year), and if they want to resell them next year, I'm still willing to buy them back at a higher price than this year. Because the older the apricot blossom tree, the more valuable it becomes; its value always increases over time. This year, the market price of ornamental plants is somewhat stable, even slightly lower than last year due to favorable weather and a more abundant supply," Mr. Hai said.
