On November 26, Mr. Ngo Minh Hai, member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Secretary of the City Youth Union, Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union of Ho Chi Minh City, led a working delegation of Ho Chi Minh City to visit and give gifts to families who suffered many losses in Khanh Hoa province.

Mr. Ngo Minh Hai visited and gave gifts to support people in Khanh Hoa province who were heavily affected by the recent flood.

Here, the delegation presented 600 gifts (school supplies and 1 million VND) to students in difficult circumstances, affected by floods at the following schools: Hoang Hoa Tham High School (Dien Khanh commune), Nguyen Dinh Chieu Secondary School (Tay Nha Trang ward), Vinh Trung Primary School (Tay Nha Trang ward), Dien Dien Primary School (Dien Dien commune), Dien Phu Primary School (Dien Dien commune).
The working delegation presented 300 gifts to households and families with children facing difficulties due to the impact of floods in Suoi Cau commune, each gift worth 2 million VND.
At the same time, the young soldiers focused on cleaning and improving the environment at Duyen Khanh Kindergarten, quickly providing a safe and clean space for the children. At the same time, they presented welfare gift bags to the Youth Union of Khanh Hoa Provincial Lung Hospital to encourage the spirit of the medical staff who are working hard on the front line.



Each timely action is a commitment of Ho Chi Minh City youth in the journey of sharing and accompanying people in disaster areas.
Previously, on November 24 and 25, the delegation presented more than 4,700 gifts to children at 20 primary and secondary schools in the area; cleaned and improved the environment at Tran Nhan Tong Secondary School (Dien Khanh Commune) and Dien Dien Primary School (Dien Dien Commune).
150 green shirt volunteers, who are they?
The Ho Chi Minh City youth volunteer team includes 50 rescue and medical youth, 20 level I trainers from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, and 80 union members, students, and youth volunteers.
The mission of the volunteers is to coordinate with the off-road vehicle club and local authorities to search, rescue, support people in cleaning their houses, cleaning the environment, repairing damaged vehicles; at the same time, receiving, coordinating and handing over relief goods sent by Ho Chi Minh City.
