According to the Department of Cinema (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), the Polish Film Week in Vietnam 2025 is organized by the Department of Cinema in coordination with the Association of Polish Film Producers. The selected films are diverse in genre and content, truly representing the country, people and life in Poland; the cultural exchange between Vietnam and Poland.
Among them, Entropia (directed by Anna Fam-Rieskaniemi) is about the cultural clash between Poland and Vietnam. The Lost (directed by Aleksander Pietrzak) is about the unexpected troubles that happen to Magda and Arek's family, who seem to be a model of peace. Will they all find their own way to happiness?
The film The Fire of Resurrection (directed by Kinga Debska) is about 20-year-old Nastka, who tells her own story from behind a small window, where she sees a world that her cerebral palsy body does not allow her to touch.
The film Glorious Music (directed by Jakub Piatek) is about the world's best young piano talents gathering in Warsaw (Poland), where the International Chopin Piano Competition, held every 5 years, decides the historical moment. More than just a story about music , the film is about the journey of maturity of young artists standing between passion, pressure and the desire to reach the top.
Kulej - Behind the scenes (directed by Xawery Zulawski) about Jerzy and Helena Kulej, Poland's hottest couple of the 1960s. Jerzy was a boxing legend with two European championships, eight national championships, and the only Polish boxer to win two Olympic gold medals.
Horror Story (directed by Adrian Apanel) is a coming-of-age story and a biting satire on the modern job market. And Our Journey (directed by Mariusz Kuczewski) is a humorous and touching tale of a family in turmoil.
