As part of a series of activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Military Region's tradition (December 10, 1945 - December 10, 2025), on the evening of December 5, at the Duc Hue Commune Cultural House, the Political Department of Military Region 7 coordinated with the Tay Ninh Provincial Military Command and the People's Committee of Duc Hue Commune to organize a screening of traditional films of the Military Region 7 armed forces and the film Red Rain. The program attracted a large number of officers, soldiers and people of Duc Hue Commune to attend.
Through documentaries and historical films about the tradition of Military Region 7, officers, soldiers and people can better understand the history of formation and heroic feats of the unit in the struggle to protect the Fatherland.
Along with that, the film Red Rain - a cinematic work recreated the battle to protect Quang Tri Citadel for 81 days and nights in 1972. The film portrayed a vivid picture of history and the sacrifices of our army and people in the revolutionary struggle for independence and national unification.
The movie Red Rain attracted a large number of people to watch.
Through the program, it aims to create a vibrant cultural atmosphere, through films rich in artistic and historical values, helping officers and soldiers, especially the younger generation, better understand the great sacrifices of previous generations, contributing to nurturing patriotism, national pride, fighting spirit, and a high sense of responsibility of soldiers of the armed forces of Military Region 7./.
