Streets like Dong Khoi, Hai Ba Trung, and Ton Duc Thang (Saigon ward)... were crowded with people and vehicles. The majority of the traffic consisted of Ho Chi Minh City residents, their families, friends, and relatives, as well as domestic and international tourists, heading to the city center to celebrate New Year's Eve.

Arriving at Nguyen Hue Flower Street at 4:30 PM, Gia Han (22 years old) and her friends were extremely excited to visit the mascots and miniature landscapes there. The young woman said she would celebrate New Year's Eve with everyone tonight in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City.
"Last year was the first time I went out to celebrate New Year's Eve with my cousins and friends, and it was so much fun that we went again this year. We went to the city center, ate, visited places, took photos, and then watched the fireworks in the evening. It was really enjoyable! I hope to see some spectacular fireworks tonight," she shared.
From the afternoon onwards, Nguyen Hue Flower Street was packed with visitors.

Meanwhile, Nguyen Tan (27 years old), who lives in Binh Dong ward, also went to the city center of Ho Chi Minh City tonight with his parents to celebrate New Year's Eve. He said his plan was to visit the flower street, then go to Bach Dang Wharf Park to watch the fireworks.
"Every year, our family goes to the flower street; it's become a tradition. This year, we all managed to arrange our work schedules early, so we went to the city center to celebrate New Year's Eve. Wishing everyone a happy new year with all your wishes fulfilled," the young man shared.
According to the plan, fireworks will be arranged at multiple high-altitude and low-altitude firing points, as well as low-altitude firing locations, to facilitate convenient viewing and enjoyment for people in many areas of the city.

Ho Chi Minh City has four locations for high-altitude (and low-altitude) fireworks displays, including the area at the entrance to the Saigon River tunnel (An Khanh Ward) with 1,200 fireworks and 60 low-altitude displays; the New City Center area ( Binh Duong Ward) with 500 fireworks and 60 low-altitude displays; Tam Thang Square (Vung Tau Ward) with 500 fireworks and 60 low-altitude displays; and Ba Ria Park Square (Ba Ria Ward) with 420 fireworks and 90 low-altitude displays.
