The Navy Commissar commended the forces that helped people overcome the consequences of floods.

In recent days, due to the impact of prolonged heavy rain, flooding in the areas of Phong Quang (Hue City), Hoi An, Dien Ban Dong, Dien Ban Tay, Ha Nha, Hoa Tien, Dai Loc (Da Nang City), Tien Thanh (Lam Dong Province) has caused heavy damage to people and property.

Officers and soldiers of Brigade 681, Naval Region 2 worked overnight to help the elderly and children in Tien Thanh ward ( Lam Dong ) who were flooded to safety.

Strictly complying with the orders and directions of the Party Committee, the Military Command, the Party committees and commanders of agencies and units under the Command of Region 2 and Command of Region 3, Brigade 83 promptly led and directed the deployment of forces and means to help the people.

With the spirit of "Helping people like helping relatives", "Helping people is an order from the heart", cadres, soldiers, youth union members, women's union members of the units have promoted a high sense of responsibility, not afraid of difficulties and dangers; actively and urgently coordinated with local Party committees, authorities and forces to participate in rescue, supply food, medicine, evacuate people, help people overcome the consequences of floods, contributing to minimizing damage, ensuring the safety of people's lives and property and ensuring absolute safety in all aspects; leaving behind the good feelings and image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the hearts of the people.

The Party Standing Committee and the Chief of the Military Command acknowledged and commended the efforts, endeavors, sense of responsibility, and noble gestures of the forces directly performing the tasks; typically the officers, soldiers, youth union members, and women's union members of agencies and units of the Region 3 Command; Brigade 83; and Brigade 681 of Region 2.

Forecasting that the weather and flood situation in the coming days will continue to be complicated, the Party Committee and the Military Command require Party committees and commanders of units to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the "4 on-the-spot" motto, prepare carefully in all aspects, and identify helping people as a "combat mission in peacetime".

At the same time, proactively grasp the weather situation, help localities overcome the consequences of floods and storms, and soon stabilize life; thereby continuing to spread the image and noble qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers - Navy soldiers" in the new era, worthy of the trust and love of the Party, the Fatherland and the people.
