On November 12, the working delegation of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee (Working Group No. 1) chaired by Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Council Vo Van Minh supervised Phu An Ward, Ho Chi Minh City (merged from Phu An Commune, Tan An Ward and 6 neighborhoods of Hiep An Ward, former Binh Duong Province).

The working group was established under the decision of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, to supervise the communes and wards in implementing the plan of the Central Inspection Committee on the operation of two-level local government, in conjunction with the organization of Party congresses at all levels, the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly, and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term.

A total of 19 working groups of the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee will supervise 168 communes, wards, special zones and affiliated Party Committees.

Concluding the supervision session at Phu An Ward Party Committee, Mr. Vo Van Minh highly appreciated the efforts of the ward after more than 4 months of consolidation in building the political system, operating the government apparatus, handling administrative procedures... achieving good results.

Mr. Minh suggested that Phu An ward should continue to closely follow the Party Congress resolutions and legal regulations to be proactive and creative, continue to expand new development space, and attract investment.

Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council Vo Van Minh gave an example of Phu An ward needing to study to expand and build a connecting road from National Highway 13 to the Saigon River road, soon putting into operation riverside roads through the ward... Thereby opening up new development space for Phu An ward in particular, contributing to the overall development of Ho Chi Minh City.

Phu An Ward is also the location of several large projects of Ho Chi Minh City with a scale of hundreds of hectares such as: Dong An Tay urban area, Tay An Tay, Tay Phu An, Tan An 1A, Tan An 1B, urban development area No. 6...

Mr. Vo Van Minh suggested that the ward should proactively coordinate with the functional agencies of Ho Chi Minh City to carry out site clearance and support investors. Thereby, the projects will come into reality, investment capital will be disbursed, creating new development momentum.

At the working session, the Phu An Ward Party Committee proposed and the working group members discussed and clarified many contents in the operation of the apparatus such as: digitizing documents, continuing to apply solutions to implement administrative procedures conveniently for people, arranging medical stations, activities of some mass organizations at the ward level...

According to the report of the Phu An Ward Party Committee, the ward has disseminated and thoroughly grasped the documents of the superiors on continuing to arrange and build the organization and operation of the administrative apparatus to ensure smoothness and efficiency. The ward also implemented the Central's conclusion on the project to supplement the socio-economic development plan for 2025 with the growth target of 8% or more...

Up to now, the total budget revenue of Phu An ward has exceeded the estimate assigned by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council, reaching 313 billion VND (equal to 129% of the estimate of more than 241 billion VND). Phu An ward has also proactively implemented solutions to promote public investment, create housing funds, and land to carry out resettlement work...
