Also attending the festival were representatives from embassies of several countries and diplomatic agencies in Vietnam; Chau Van Son Art Troupe (Yunnan Province, China), Xieng Khouang Art Troupe (Lao PDR); representatives from central agencies, ministries, branches, leaders of People's Committees and People's Councils of provinces; Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of provinces and cities nationwide; tourism and travel businesses, along with a large number of people and domestic and international tourists.
The gala night was broadcast live on Vietnam Television, Tuyen Quang Newspaper online, Tuyen Quang Newspaper online Youtube, Tuyen Quang Fanpage online.
Comrade Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, speaking at the festival emphasized that with their love for children and their talent and ingenuity, Tuyen Quang people have created an extremely creative and unique Mid-Autumn Festival to give to teenagers and children and also to introduce to domestic and foreign tourists and friends. After nearly 20 years of creation, maintenance and development, with 3 times being set as Vietnamese records, Thanh Tuyen Festival has truly become a unique and special tourism product of Tuyen Quang province.
He hoped that Tuyen Quang children would make more efforts in studying and training to contribute to making their revolutionary homeland, the Capital of the Liberated Zone, the Capital of Resistance, famous. Tuyen Quang children, together with teenagers and children across the country, would contribute to building our country to be more and more decent and beautiful as Uncle Ho always wished.
Speaking at the gala, Comrade Tran Tuan Anh, Politburo member, Head of the Central Economic Commission, affirmed that children are the future of the country; caring for and nurturing the young generation, especially children, is a precious tradition of our nation. Implementing the Party's policy and with the participation of the entire political system, the work of protecting, caring for and educating children nationwide has achieved many great achievements. Children today have made a significant contribution to the cause of building and defending the socialist Fatherland of Vietnam. On behalf of the Party and State leaders, he warmly commended and praised the outstanding achievements of children nationwide, especially children in Tuyen Quang province in recent times.
Every Mid-Autumn Festival, many practical and meaningful activities for children are held across the country. With their love for children and their talent and ingenuity, the people of all ethnic groups in Tuyen Quang province have created an extremely creative and impressive Thanh Tuyen Festival.
He believes and hopes that, with their will, determination and spirit of youth and great ambition, the young generation and children across the country will strive to study to follow in the footsteps of their fathers and brothers in striving, studying, training, becoming good children, good students, talents, and future owners of the country.
On this occasion, the Central leaders, provincial leaders, delegates and businesses presented 70 gifts to disadvantaged students with excellent academic achievements in the 2022-2023 school year and presented Mid-Autumn gifts to teenagers and children attending the festival.
The program “Colorful Thanh Tuyen Festival Night” was organized with an attractive and spectacular art performance with the participation of actors from Xieng Khouang Art Troupe (Laos), Chau Van Son Art Troupe, Yunnan Province (China), Tuoi Tre Theater and students of Binh Thuan Primary School (Tuyen Quang City). Interspersed among the singing, dancing and music performances was a parade of 64 giant mid-autumn models.
