Speaking at the ceremony to announce, award decisions and launch the emulation movement in 2025 organized by the National Assembly Standing Committee (February 13, 2025), National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man Emphasizing that 2025 is a very important year with many major anniversaries of the country and the nation, therefore, it is recommended that the agencies of the National Assembly, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, the Office of the National Assembly, full-time National Assembly deputies, and officials under the management authority of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly continue to implement and thoroughly grasp Directive No. 41-CT/TW of the Politburo on strengthening the Party's leadership over emulation and commendation work in the new situation. The spirit of the Directive is to improve the quality and effectiveness of emulation movements and commendation work, creating a great driving force to contribute to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks of rapid and sustainable national development, completing the set goals, practically celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Party's founding and the 100th anniversary of the country's founding.
The National Assembly Chairman also requested the National Assembly, the agencies of the National Assembly, the agencies under the National Assembly Standing Committee, and the Office of the National Assembly to focus on implementing the digital transformation revolution in the National Assembly, determined to complete the program and plan for building a digital National Assembly by 2025 to strongly and comprehensively reform the activities of the National Assembly, create new momentum in performing legislative, supervisory, and decision-making functions on important national issues, strengthen the connection between the National Assembly and voters and the People, and connect the National Assembly with the Party, the State, the Fatherland Front, and organizations. Along with that, build and organize the implementation of the plan to summarize the term of the 15th National Assembly, prepare all conditions for organizing the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People's Councils for the 2026-2031 term.
