On November 26, Mr. Tran Duy Dong, Chairman of Phu Tho province, had a dialogue to remove difficulties for businesses and investors in the area.

According to a report from a professional agency, the number of newly registered enterprises in 2025 in Phu Tho province increased sharply, with 4,500 enterprises, registered capital of over 40,000 billion VND, and about 1,000 enterprises returning to production and business activities.

Thanks to that, Phu Tho province's economy has achieved positive results, estimated to increase by 10.3% for the whole year compared to 2024. However, the report at the conference showed that 58 enterprises and investors in Phu Tho province have proposed problems and difficulties related to 6 groups of issues and fields. The most prominent group of problems is related to compensation, site clearance and resettlement, affecting the progress of 15 infrastructure and production projects.

The reasons are due to slow approval of compensation plans, untimely resettlement arrangements, problems in grave relocation and land price agreements. In the field of planning and land, 13 projects are facing difficulties due to overlapping planning, lack of agreement between land use planning and sector planning or prolonged time for processing documents. In addition, some enterprises also face difficulties related to administrative procedures due to adjustments and licensing of project implementation; handling of excess land for leveling, water supply and drainage, traffic connection points or unsynchronized technical infrastructure. Along with that, fluctuations in the international market, especially the US tax policy, have seriously affected many export enterprises in the fields of textiles, wood, construction materials...

Chairman of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee Tran Duy Dong assigned departments, branches and sectors based on their assigned functions and tasks to proactively and thoroughly resolve difficulties and problems of enterprises; documents on solutions must clearly identify the unit in charge, commit to a specific time schedule for handling; advise and filter to issue mechanisms and policies under the authority of Phu Tho Provincial People's Committee. For the content under the authority of the Central Government, the Working Group is requested to synthesize each group of issues related to specific ministries and branches, and submit to competent authorities for consideration and decision.

Focus on promptly resolving difficulties and problems in the spirit of business, investors must be best supported, created the most favorable conditions, from learning about investment projects to the entire investment, production and business process; create motivation and positive spillover of projects invested in the province, to promote investment attraction, especially projects in processing and manufacturing industries, electronics, high-tech agriculture , service development, tourism...
