President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang visited and encouraged workers at the construction site of the 500kV line 3 project.

On April 22, a working delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor led by Comrade Nguyen Dinh Khang, member of the Party Central Committee and President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, visited and encouraged workers at the construction site of the 500kV line 3 project (section passing through Thanh Hoa province).

The working delegation inspected and listened to a report on the progress of the Thanh Hoa 500kV transformer station project in Thieu Phuc commune (Thieu Hoa).

Also attending were Mr. Mai Xuan Liem, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Anh Tuan, General Director of Vietnam Electricity Group; representatives of the Provincial Labor Federation.

The 500kV line 3 project from Quang Trach ( Quang Binh ) to Pho Noi (Hung Yen) runs through Thanh Hoa province with 132km of line, including 299 pole foundation locations. Up to now, Thanh Hoa province has mobilized to hand over the site of all 299 pole foundation locations to the investor for construction.

Thanh Hoa 500kV transformer station in Thieu Phuc commune (Thieu Hoa) is being urgently completed.

In recent times, Thanh Hoa province has focused on mobilizing human resources to carry out tasks related to site clearance, measurement, and handover of landmarks. Localities where the project passes through also urgently disseminate the site clearance plan immediately after approval; work directly with affected households to reach an agreement, as a basis for investors to pay compensation costs, and promptly hand over the site to implement the project according to the required schedule.

With a very urgent working atmosphere at the construction site, the President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor highly appreciated the efforts to overcome all difficulties and join hands of the construction workers' teams and groups at the construction site, who have seriously implemented the direction of the Government and the Prime Minister, which is to promote the spirit of "Only discussing work, not retreating, overcoming the sun and rain, eating and sleeping quickly, working in 3 shifts and 4 shifts".

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Mai Xuan Liem encouraged workers constructing the foundation of column 136 in Chau Loc commune (Hau Loc).

He requested the construction unit to continue to promote; widely launch emulation movements; mobilize workers, especially assign appropriate human resources to ensure safe, quality and timely construction; report to promptly resolve difficulties and problems during the construction process. He also requested to fully and promptly supply raw materials and materials to the construction unit, ensure good security and order at construction sites; and at the same time encourage and care for the team of officers, engineers and construction workers.
