According to the report of the Provincial Construction Project Management Board, the 1,200-bed Ca Mau General Hospital Project has a total investment of more than VND 3,300 billion, implemented in the 2020-2026 period on an area of more than 12 hectares. The project includes the main building, specialized treatment areas, a general area, accommodation areas for patients' relatives, technical infrastructure systems and auxiliary items. Currently, the bidding packages are being implemented synchronously, some have been completed, the rest are under construction.

Through the on-site inspection, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lu Quang Ngoi acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the investor, contractor and construction force in the context of unfavorable weather and large workload.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lu Quang Ngoi emphasized: This is a key health project of the province, playing an important role in improving the quality of medical examination and treatment and meeting the health care needs of the people of Ca Mau province. Therefore, the Project Management Board and related units are required to coordinate closely, propose solutions to promote progress; increase human resources, machinery, organize overtime construction; at the same time, closely follow the plan, ensure construction quality, labor safety and environmental sanitation.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that collectives and individuals with good achievements should be promptly rewarded to encourage and motivate the construction spirit - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lu Quang Ngoi suggested.

In addition, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Lu Quang Ngoi directed the Project Management Board to focus on implementing a number of key tasks: Maintain weekly meetings at the construction site to promptly resolve difficulties and problems; request contractors to supplement equipment and human resources; request supervision consultants and design consultants to regularly be present at the site to monitor, urge and handle arising problems from the beginning.
