Ma Pi Leng village is 10km southwest of Dong Van commune center. The village has a total natural area of ​​98 hectares, including: 46.3 hectares of corn, 16 hectares of other crops, and 57.88 hectares of forestry land. The whole village has 62 households/374 people, 100% of whom are Mong ethnic people. The terrain in the village is mainly limestone mountains, located in the core area of ​​Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark, the economy mainly relies on agriculture - forestry and services - tourism; the village has potential to develop trade and services, especially community tourism. The village's Party cell currently has 7 party members.

Over the years, the people in the village have always well implemented the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and the village's covenants and regulations, united together, supported socio-economic development, built cultural life in residential areas; actively eliminated backward customs and practices, preserved the good cultural identity of the Mong people, encouraged the implementation of a civilized lifestyle, and built cultural families. People supported the policy of implementing the 2-level local government model and programs and emulation movements to build new rural areas, reduce poverty sustainably... Up to now, the village has 18 cultural families; the poverty rate has decreased to about 50%; the material and spiritual life of the people has increasingly improved.

Therefore, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that the villagers will unite, change their awareness and thinking to continue to build and exploit the Ma Pi Leng brand, making the village increasingly developed; the young generations will continue the tradition of their ancestors to promote the potential for economic development of tourism and services; shift the structure of crop and livestock varieties with higher productivity and value, improving the lives of the people; research and apply science , technology, social networks to process, promote and consume family and local products to increase product value; at the same time, take advantage of digital platforms, exploit and develop the digital economy...
