
At the reception, Comrade Nguyen Van Duoc expressed his pleasure to meet Governor Kuroiwa Yuji again, who has made many important contributions to strengthening and expanding cooperative relations between Kanagawa and Vietnam, especially with Ho Chi Minh City.
The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee emphasized that over the past two decades, the friendly relationship between the two localities has been nurtured on the foundation of trust and sincere affection, vividly demonstrated through many cultural exchange activities, cooperation in the fields of health , human resource training, and events such as the Vietnam Festival in Kanagawa and the Kanagawa Festival in Vietnam.
Comrade Nguyen Van Duoc said that after restructuring administrative units, Ho Chi Minh City determined its development orientation in the coming time to become a center of digital industry, high technology, financial services and innovation in the region.
Along with that, the key economic zone in the South, including the former Ba Ria - Vung Tau , will be strongly developed in marine economy, tourism and clean energy, areas that have similarities with the strengths of Kanagawa province.
The Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee expressed his hope that Governor Kuroiwa Yuji would continue to pay attention to, introduce and call on Japanese enterprises, especially Kanagawa enterprises, to invest and cooperate in Ho Chi Minh City, contributing to promoting the common development of Vietnam - Japan relations, including Ho Chi Minh City and Kanagawa province.

Governor Kuroiwa Yuji said this was his third visit to Ho Chi Minh City and his ninth visit to Vietnam, and expressed his deep impression of Ho Chi Minh City's dynamic and modern development after 12 years of returning.
Mr. Kuroiwa Yuji informed that there are currently 22 Vietnamese enterprises investing in Kanagawa Prefecture, mainly in the field of information technology. During this visit, Kanagawa Prefecture organized the Kanagawa – Vietnam Investment Forum on November 12 to promote business connections between the two sides.
Governor Kuroiwa Yuji also said that 32 Kanagawa enterprises are investing in Vietnam, demonstrating the strong increase in position and attractiveness of the investment environment in Vietnam in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular.
Governor Kuroiwa Yuji hopes that this visit will continue to create new momentum, bringing the cooperative relationship between Ho Chi Minh City and Kanagawa to increasingly develop deeply, practically and effectively.
