The Resolution of the 14th National Congress of the Party sets out 12 directions and tasks for consolidating the great national unity.

Accordingly, the Vietnam Fatherland Front should be built into a truly political alliance, a voluntary union of political organizations, socio-political organizations, social organizations, and prominent individuals from all classes, social strata, ethnic groups, religions, and Vietnamese people living abroad.

Building a modern Vietnamese working class that is strong in both quantity and quality, possesses firm political resolve, class consciousness, national pride and self-respect, and is truly the leading class in the revolutionary cause through its vanguard, the Communist Party of Vietnam .

To build a civilized, comprehensively developed Vietnamese peasantry with willpower, self-reliance, self-strength, and aspirations for advancement; to promote the leading role of farmers in the development of agricultural economy, rural economy, and the construction of new rural areas.

To build and develop a strong and comprehensive team of Vietnamese intellectuals and artists, with a rational structure, high quality, strong patriotism and civic responsibility, revolutionary character and ideals, and representing the intellect of Vietnam.

To nurture and develop Vietnamese women in the new era, promoting their traditions, potential, strengths, intelligence, and spirit of self-reliance and aspiration for advancement; and to actively build progressive, civilized, prosperous, and happy Vietnamese families.

Building a strong team of Vietnamese entrepreneurs with patriotism, social responsibility, national self-reliance, a desire to contribute, respect for the rule of law, and the capacity for international integration and competition, thereby contributing to the development of a prosperous, civilized, and happy country.

Strengthening the education of young Vietnamese generations on revolutionary ideals, ethics, lifestyle, patriotism, national pride, nurturing dreams, aspirations, willpower, and a desire to contribute, and upholding responsibility towards the country and society.

Promoting the role of veterans and former police officers in educating the younger generation about patriotic traditions and revolutionary heroism, and upholding the essence and traditions of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" and "revolutionary police officers".

Leveraging the wisdom, prestige, and experience of the elderly in families, communities, and society; protecting and caring for the elderly, especially in the context of rapid population aging.

Ensuring equality, solidarity, mutual assistance, and shared development among all ethnic groups. Promoting the positive attitude and self-reliance of ethnic minorities in socio-economic development, striving to overcome poverty, and achieving sustainable multidimensional poverty reduction.

Ensuring and respecting the freedom of belief, religion, and non-belief of the people; mobilizing, uniting, and gathering religious organizations, believers, dignitaries, officials, and clergy to live "a good life and a virtuous life," accompanying the nation, and actively participating in patriotic movements and emulation campaigns.

Promote the mobilization of overseas Vietnamese, especially the younger generation, to maintain ties with their homeland, preserve their national identity and culture; strengthen citizen protection; and support overseas Vietnamese to have a solid legal status, integrate into society, and make positive contributions to their host countries and the nation.

The Resolution of the 14th National Congress also affirmed the need to continue innovating the content and methods of operation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and other political and social organizations as the core for the people to exercise their right to self-governance; to gather and utilize all resources, creative capacities of the people and the strength of national unity in the cause of building and developing the country and protecting the Fatherland.

National unity is the cause of the entire people, the responsibility of the Party and the entire political system. Unity within the Party is the core and solid foundation for building unity within the political system, national unity, and international solidarity. The Vietnam Fatherland Front and other political and social organizations play a core political role in gathering, uniting, and strongly promoting all resources, potential, and creativity of the people for the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

In response to the increasingly demanding requirements of national construction and defense in the new era, we will continue to uphold the tradition and strength of national unity, strengthen social consensus, strongly awaken patriotism, national self-reliance, faith, and aspirations to contribute to building a more prosperous, civilized, and happy country; contributing to the successful achievement of the national development goals set forth by the 14th National Congress.
