Focus on improving the quality of advice on personnel work

At the working session, Comrade Mai Van Chinh, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee, presented a summary report on the implementation of tasks. Accordingly, since the beginning of the term, closely following the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the entire working program of the Central Executive Committee, the working program of the Politburo , the Secretariat, the collective of cadres, civil servants and public employees of the Central Organizing Committee have made efforts and upheld their responsibilities to well perform the assigned tasks.

The entire sector focused on advising and completing 95 projects and tasks on Party organization and building. By the end of May, the Committee had completed 5/18 projects and tasks according to the 2024 work program; proactively advised on the preparation for Party congresses at all levels and the 14th National Party Congress; advised the Politburo to submit to the Central Executive Committee for agreement on the establishment of 5 Subcommittees and promptly advised on the implementation of the activities of the Personnel Subcommittee, the Party Charter Subcommittee, etc.

Comrade Luong Cuong, Politburo member, Permanent Secretary of the Secretariat spoke at the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, the Standing member of the Secretariat highly appreciated the Central Organizing Committee for promoting the spirit of solidarity, striving, overcoming difficulties, advising on the completion of a large volume of work with increasingly improved quality, including many tasks completed well and excellently.

Emphasizing the particularly important position and role of the Central Organizing Committee in advising on personnel work, Comrade Luong Cuong suggested that the Committee should continue to research and propose solutions to difficult and problematic issues, regularly direct, guide and inspect according to its authority to continuously improve the quality of personnel work; strengthen research and strategic advice on Party building and organization work, and building a contingent of cadres in the new situation.

Along with that, the Central Organizing Committee focused on advising on the implementation of the Politburo's Directive on Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party and providing guidance on the implementation of a number of specific contents after the Directive was issued; actively participating in the tasks of the Sub-committees preparing for the 14th National Congress of the Party as planned.

The Central Organizing Committee needs to focus on advising on the completion of projects and tasks according to the 2024 Work Program, especially developing the Project "Mechanisms and policies for detecting, selecting, promoting, arranging, and assigning cadres with outstanding abilities and capacities, young cadres to leadership and management positions at all levels" to ensure feasibility. Research and promote administrative reform in the Party, especially digital transformation, application of information technology, and digitalization of data in Party organization and building work...
