Focus on discovering, nurturing and replicating advanced models

The event aims to honor typical and advanced collectives and individuals; spread the patriotic emulation movement; strengthen the strength of national solidarity and create motivation to successfully implement the city's socio -economic development goals in the new period.

At the Congress, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City Le Tri Thanh said that, implementing President Ho Chi Minh 's teaching "Emulation is patriotism, patriotism is emulation", over the past 5 years, the city has gone through a period of disease prevention and control, natural disasters, recovery, accelerated socio-economic development, reorganizing the apparatus and perfecting the urban government. Patriotic emulation movements have been deployed synchronously, creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere among the people. From the emulation movements, many typical advanced examples, good people, good deeds in all fields have emerged, recognized by the Party and State with many awards and noble titles. This is a clear demonstration of the spirit of solidarity, creativity and aspiration of the people in the cause of building the homeland.

Over the past 5 years, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee at all levels in Da Nang has coordinated with member organizations to build and replicate nearly 2,000 new models and creative approaches suitable to local conditions. Regarding new rural construction, people have voluntarily contributed nearly 303 billion VND, donated more than 550,700m² of land and more than 234,000 working days to implement civil works such as traffic, irrigation, cultural houses, and schools.

The Fatherland Front at all levels assigned support to 2,096 poor and near-poor households who are members, union members and people to escape poverty. The mobilization, management and use of the "For the Poor" Fund were carried out transparently and to the right subjects. In the period 2020-2025, the Fund mobilized 385 billion VND, contributing to supporting tens of thousands of disadvantaged households. In the emulation movement of the whole country joining hands to "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses", 3,564 houses were newly built and repaired with a total cost of more than 145 billion VND.

With great efforts, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city and socio-political organizations have been continuously evaluated by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Central Committee of mass organizations as having excellently completed their tasks, leading the emulation cluster; and have been awarded the Emulation Flag by the Government and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; and many Certificates of Merit by the ministries, central branches and the Chairman of the City People's Committee. The whole city has recorded 14 Labor Medals, 226 Emulation Flags and 470 Certificates of Merit by the Government, the Central Committee of the Association, and the City People's Committee.

In the period of 2025-2030, the Patriotic Emulation movement of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations will continue to focus on discovering, fostering and replicating advanced models; promoting propaganda to raise awareness of emulation and rewards; motivating cadres, union members, association members and workers to promote the spirit of dedication and fulfill their tasks well.

In the coming time, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang city and socio-political organizations will continue to effectively implement the program of building a united, prosperous and happy residential area; reorganize campaigns and emulation movements in a flexible manner, suitable to the characteristics of each locality and new administrative unit. Along with that, promote the application of digital transformation in management, evaluation and summary of emulation movements, ensuring publicity, transparency, improving the quality and prestige of emulation and reward work in the new period.

On this occasion, 2 outstanding individuals were awarded the Third Class Labor Medal by the President; 17 individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Prime Minister. The Chairman of the City People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Da Nang City awarded Certificates of Merit to 269 outstanding collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in patriotic emulation.
