Carefully prepare for the 4th Congress of Ethnic Minorities of Quang Nam Province in 2024

The Provincial Ethnic Committee said that by June 28, 2024, 13/13 districts and cities in the province had completed the organization of congresses and conferences of ethnic minorities, ensuring thoughtfulness, safety, and on time and on schedule.

At the congress and district-level conference, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee, Chairmen of the District and City People's Committees honored, commended and rewarded 60 collectives and 121 individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing ethnic work and ethnic policies in the period of 2019 - 2024.

At the provincial level, Mr. A Lang Mai - Head of the Provincial Ethnic Minorities Committee said that the congress of ethnic minorities in Quang Nam province is scheduled to be held on September 18 and 19, 2024.

Regarding the preparation for the congress, according to Mr. ALang Mai, up to now, the list of 220 official delegates selected by the congress and district-level conference to attend the provincial congress has been compiled; proposed a plan to allocate 20 official delegates who are ethnic minorities working at provincial agencies and units; preparation of content and personnel for the presidium and secretariat; rewards; propaganda...

Under the direction of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan, members of the Steering Committee gave comments and agreed on 10 work contents that need to continue to prepare for the congress and 18 related recommendations and proposals of the Provincial Ethnic Committee.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan requested the members of the Steering Committee to continue to closely coordinate with the Provincial Ethnic Committee to carefully prepare the remaining work contents, ensuring that the organization of the Congress of Ethnic Minorities in Quang Nam province takes place successfully, truly becoming a festival of great solidarity among ethnic minorities, creating an exciting and enthusiastic atmosphere contributing to the successful implementation of emulation movements and political tasks in the current period.
