Preparing for a provincial fire fighting and rescue drill on November 14

The Provincial People's Committee has deployed a plan to organize fire fighting and rescue drills with the mobilization of forces, vehicles, and assets of many local agencies and organizations in 2025.

The forces participating in the joint training prepare for the official exercise.

Accordingly, the large-scale internship plan will be held at the Vinh Long Provincial Convention Center (No. 68, Vo Van Kiet Street, Long Chau Ward, Vinh Long Province) on November 14, with the participation of more than 650 people and many types of vehicles.

Through organizing the practice, it contributes to improving the fire fighting and rescue readiness, command and operation capacity and coordination between the fire fighting and rescue police force and the forces participating in fire fighting and rescue in the province in coordinating the handling of fires, explosions, incidents and complex accidents.

Colonel Nguyen Van Hanh - Deputy Director of the Provincial Police Department commented and evaluated the task performance of the forces at the joint training session on November 10.

During the exercise, promote the effectiveness of the "4 on-site" motto, test the ability to mobilize forces, firefighting and search and rescue equipment of the forces; evaluate the features, effects, and actual effectiveness of firefighting and search and rescue equipment, communications, and logistics.

It is expected that more than 650 people and many types of vehicles will participate in the internship.

The Provincial People's Committee requires that the implementation of simulated fire, explosion, incident, and accident scenarios in the plan practice must be consistent with reality, ensuring technical and tactical requirements for firefighting and rescue. Organize training, joint practice, rehearsal, and practice of the plan according to the scenario and simulated situations.
