Well prepared for the Opening Ceremony, Closing Ceremony and activities at the National Achievement Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day

On the morning of August 6, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong chaired a meeting to deploy preparations for the Opening Ceremony, Closing Ceremony and activities at the National Achievement Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day.

At the meeting, representatives of relevant agencies, units, and sub-committees assisting the Exhibition Organizing Committee discussed the content, program, progress of implementing tasks as well as difficulties and problems in the implementation process.

As planned, the Opening Ceremony of the Exhibition will take place at 9:00 a.m. on August 28, 2025 (Thursday); the Closing Ceremony will take place at 8:00 p.m. on September 5, 2025 (Friday) at the North Yard, National Exhibition Center. The Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the Exhibition will be broadcast live on Vietnam Television and Voice of Vietnam .

Before the Exhibition, the following activities will take place: Music program "Radiant Vietnam"; Music program "8Wonder Co Loa"; Art program "Words from the heart of Vietnam".

During the Exhibition, there will be the following activities: Forum "Application of artificial intelligence AI in the digital age"; Workshop "The role of data in the digital age"; Art program chaired by the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City; Art program " Hanoi - Forever Vietnam's aspiration"; Art program chaired by the People's Committee of Hue City; Business Forum of Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City.

In addition, at the square block A, there are also periodic performance activities, exchanges between art units; Art performance activities of provinces and cities; Performance programs, talk shows, exchanges, experiences of the game industry; Auction of fine art works...

Over the past time, ministries, branches, localities and relevant agencies have made great efforts and focused on implementing tasks and work to prepare for organizing the National Achievement Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day.

To prepare well for the Opening Ceremony, Closing Ceremony and activities at the Exhibition, Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong requested the Sub-committees assisting the Exhibition Organizing Committee to base on their assigned functions and tasks and the Project and General Plan, develop a specific action plan, proactively report to the Organizing Committee, ensure the implementation of tasks in a consistent, seamless, unified manner, maintain information and coordination between the Sub-committees, and ensure the synthesis work of the Content Sub-committee.

The Security, Order and Health Subcommittee, the Ministry of Public Security , the Ministry of Health, and the Hanoi People's Committee plan and implement the organization to ensure absolute security, order, safety, traffic plans, and fire prevention and fighting for activities before and during the Exhibition, the Opening Ceremony, and the Closing Ceremony; arrange forces to ensure security and safety for the exhibition and for the people of the Capital as well as domestic and international visitors; promptly deploy instructions for registration and issuance of security cards. In addition, develop a medical plan, establish a medical working group, arrange first aid points and establish a rapid response team, prepare essential means and medicines to ensure food safety, health care, and medical care for delegates, visitors, officials, employees, and workers performing the tasks of the Exhibition.

In addition, each agency and unit must strengthen coordination, build an implementation roadmap to ensure feasibility, rational use of resources, avoid waste and formality, and ensure absolute safety during the organization process. Focus on ensuring security, order, and hygiene to serve the essential needs of the people during the Exhibition.

"The time from now until the opening day of the Exhibition is very short, the scale of the organization is large, the workload is large, so the units need to be determined and make efforts to perform well the assigned tasks. In addition, it is necessary to ensure scientific, unified, effective organization and implementation, close and synchronous coordination between agencies and units to carry out tasks on schedule" - Deputy Minister Ta Quang Dong emphasized./.
