Joining hands to help the underprivileged.

In modern life, alongside achievements in economic development and social security, many difficult circumstances still require the community's support. Some families lose their main breadwinners due to accidents or illness; many children face the risk of dropping out of school due to poverty; and numerous elderly people living alone need care and attention. Therefore, humanitarian and charitable activities are becoming increasingly meaningful, contributing to empowering vulnerable people to overcome adversity and stabilize their lives.

Joining hands to help the underprivileged.

Toyota Vietnam Company always stands alongside and supports disadvantaged families in the province.

To support vulnerable people, the system of Red Cross clubs and volunteer teams in the province has been continuously strengthened and expanded over the years. From initial spontaneous activities, these clubs and volunteer teams have gradually become standardized in terms of organization, maintaining orderly operations and linking them to specific humanitarian tasks in the locality.

Currently, the province has 36 volunteer clubs and teams with over 2,300 volunteers participating in regular activities. These clubs are established in many communes, wards, schools, agencies, and units; bringing together volunteers from various professions such as officials, civil servants, small business owners, workers, and grassroots officials. The volunteer team mainly consists of young and middle-aged people, full of enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility, ready to participate in community service activities.

During the period 2021-2026, Red Cross clubs and volunteer teams in the province implemented a comprehensive range of humanitarian activities with a total value exceeding 36.2 billion VND. Specifically in the field of emergency relief and humanitarian assistance, these units supported more than 32,700 people affected by natural disasters, epidemics, accidents, and other difficult circumstances, with a total value of approximately 30 billion VND.

Many effective volunteer models have left a positive mark on the community, such as the "Warming Hearts" volunteer team, the Tam Duong Volunteer Team, the "Binh Xuyen Compassionate Arms" Club, the Dat To Volunteer Group, the Thanh Thuy Volunteer Group, the "Connecting Hearts in Hoa Binh" Club, and the Hoa Binh Volunteer Club...

Comrade Le Thi Quynh Trang - President of the Provincial Red Cross Society, said: In the field of community health care, over the past 5 years, the clubs have regularly maintained activities to support patients at medical facilities, organizing the cooking and distribution of more than 200,000 free meals with a total value of over 5.2 billion VND. Models such as "Charity Kitchen," "Compassionate Porridge Pot," "Zero-Cost Meals," and "Free Haircuts" have been effectively implemented and received the approval and support of a large number of people.

The voluntary blood donation movement and campaigns encouraging registration for tissue and organ donation have also achieved many positive results. Through the activities of clubs and volunteer teams, the entire province received 114,375 units of blood for emergency and treatment purposes; at the same time, 1,423 people registered to donate tissues, organs, and body parts, contributing to spreading this noble act in the community.

Joining hands to help the underprivileged.

The Provincial Business Association signed a cooperation program on humanitarian work for the period 2026-2031.

Besides the role of organizations and volunteer forces, the business community also clearly demonstrates its social responsibility towards the community. Over the years, the Provincial Business Association and its member businesses have actively participated in social welfare, humanitarian, and charitable activities in the area. Many businesses have dedicated resources to supporting the construction of humanitarian housing, giving Tet gifts to poor households, supporting livelihoods for disadvantaged people, caring for underprivileged students, participating in relief efforts for people affected by natural disasters and epidemics, and many other meaningful charitable activities.

Comrade Nguyen Van Cuong - Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial Business Association, stated: The sustainable development of businesses is not only reflected in production and business efficiency but also affirmed by social responsibility and humanitarian values contributed to the community. Every act of sharing, every charitable action contributes to instilling confidence and motivation in those facing difficult circumstances to overcome challenges in life.

In response to the "Humanitarian Month" in 2026, the Provincial Business Association continues to commit to working alongside the Provincial Red Cross Society to implement many practical and meaningful activities. Specifically, the two organizations will sign a cooperation program on humanitarian work for the period 2026-2031 with key contents such as supporting the construction of housing for disadvantaged households, providing livelihood support, giving Tet gifts to the poor, caring for vulnerable groups, and implementing charitable activities for the community.

It can be affirmed that humanitarian work is not just a temporary movement, but has become a journey of spreading love and connecting compassionate hearts in society. When each person knows how to share, and each organization and business joins hands for the community, no one will be left behind. This is also a profound humanistic value, contributing to building a united, compassionate, and sustainably developing society.
