Immediately after the launching ceremony, the Green Sunday event in Binh Hung Hoa ward attracted more than 1,100 union members, association members, young people, officials, soldiers, students, and residents to participate in activities to improve the landscape, clean up the environment, and plant and care for trees in the area.

At the ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union and President of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Federation, Le Tuan Anh, stated that this was an opportunity for the youth of Ho Chi Minh City to further concretize the city's policies in building a green, civilized, and modern urban area. At the same time, they joined hands with the local authorities to achieve the goal of building a "Green Binh Hung Hoa," contributing to improving the quality of life for residents and creating an increasingly clean, safe, and friendly living space.

In particular, the youth of Ho Chi Minh City continue to promote the "Saigon River - My City's River" project, focusing on implementing activities to improve the landscape, clean up the environment, and clear waterways in rivers, canals, and streams throughout the city. Through this, they are gradually spreading awareness of preserving the living environment and fostering community responsibility in building a green, clean, beautiful, and sustainably developed Ho Chi Minh City.
The Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Union hopes that the spirit of Green Sunday will continue to spread even more strongly among union members, young people, and the people of the city. Through this, each young person can proactively carry out small but practical actions for the community, contributing to building Ho Chi Minh City into a city with a high quality of life, civilized, modern, and compassionate.
