The last Mellower coffee shop on Dong Khoi, in front of Notre Dame Cathedral, Ho Chi Minh City, has just announced its closure.

On the official website, Mellower Coffee announced its permanent closure in Ho Chi Minh City. Currently, the branch in Ho Chi Minh City is arranging contact to transfer balances as well as redeem gifts for accumulated points in customers' membership cards.
The specialty coffee chain opened its first store at Deutsches Haus (Le Duan, District 1) in March 2019. Just a few months later, the shop quickly replaced The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf at the Metropolitan building (Dong Khoi, District 1), when this store closed.
Before the announcement of Mellower Coffee, many customers expressed regret. Customer Huu Tai commented under the announcement that this is a coffee shop with a beautiful view and good service quality in Ho Chi Minh City.
Mellower Coffee is a famous coffee chain in China, a member of the Specialty Coffee Association, founded in 2011 and opened its first store in the world in Shanghai.
The Chinese brand has more than 80 stores worldwide and is present in many neighboring countries such as Korea, Singapore, and Thailand. Mellower Coffee's menu features specialty coffees with prices ranging from VND49,000 to VND118,000.
In addition, the coffee shop is popular with young people because of its modern design and beautifully decorated drinks. In 2019, this coffee chain created a "fever" with a cup of coffee shaped like a unique sugar rain.
