On the evening of January 17th, at the Ho Guom Theatre ( Hanoi ), the Vietnam Classical Music Association, in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises, organized a special concert program "Aspiration for Spring," featuring the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra (VNSO), the Sun Symphony Orchestra (SSO), and artists from the Vietnam National Academy of Music. The program brought together nearly 150 artists and musicians, performing carefully selected works rich in intellectual and artistic value, showcasing a harmonious blend of tradition and modernity, national identity and the finest aspects of human culture. Notably, for the first time in a Vietnamese concert program, there was a joint conducting by two international conductors: Honna Tetsuji (Japan) and Olivier Ochanine (France).
Earlier, on the evening of January 5th, the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) organized an art program titled "With the Party, Unwavering Faith and Love," in anticipation of the 14th National Congress of the Party. The program, built on modern artistic language, connected the depth of tradition with contemporary spirit, focusing on portraying the unwavering faith and affection of the people for the Party throughout its leadership of the country in overcoming difficulties and challenges. With three chapters themed: "The Voice of the Nation," "The Rhythm of the Times," and "The Sacred Red," the program took the audience back to the roots of national culture while vividly reflecting the powerful movements of the country during the integration period. Many new award-winning works from creative writing competitions about the Party were introduced to the public for the first time.
The Vietnam National Drama Theatre, in collaboration with the Ho Chi Minh Museum, organized the art program "Uncle Ho - A Boundless Love," comprising four short plays: "The Story of Ms. Tin's Family," "Unity is Strength," "Bright Eyes," and "The South in Uncle Ho's Heart." Through simple yet emotionally rich stories, the program portrays the humble and benevolent image of President Ho Chi Minh, highlighting his boundless love for the people; thereby spreading the message of learning from and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style through vibrant and inspiring artistic forms.
In addition, the Vietnam Puppet Theatre launched the art program "Long Thanh Emotions," becoming a unique highlight in the series of activities celebrating the Congress. The program is an artistic journey recreating the beauty of Thang Long - Hanoi, a thousand-year-old cultural capital, an elegant and refined capital city, rich in culture and vibrant in the folk life of its 36 streets, through the harmonious combination of traditional puppet art and contemporary creativity.
In particular, the special art program "New Vision - New Era," scheduled to take place on January 23rd at My Dinh National Stadium (Hanoi), celebrates the success of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and commemorates the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2026). The program aims to affirm the outstanding achievements of the country over 40 years of reform (1986 - 2026), spread the aspiration to build a strong and prosperous Vietnam; and at the same time honor the revolutionary, cultural, and heroic traditions of Hanoi, arousing pride and responsibility in building and protecting the capital - the heart of the nation.
The series of art programs celebrating the 14th National Congress of the Party demonstrates the responsibility and dedication of artists and writers in accompanying the country's important political events; contributing to strengthening the people's trust in the Party and fostering aspirations for Vietnam's development in the new era.
