Recently, police and riot police forces simultaneously appeared at Mailisa Beauty Salon system in many provinces and cities. At many facilities, the authorities collected documents and equipment to serve the work of clarifying the case.

In another development, the business activities of this chain of beauty salons also attracted great attention when many outstanding information continuously appeared.

Companies related to Mailisa beauty salon chain are being dissolved in a rush.

Mr. Hoang Kim Khanh - Mrs. Phan Thi Mai's husband - recently signed a decision to dissolve Mailisa Beauty Salon Service Company Limited (October 28), officially ending the business's operations after more than 7 years of establishment. The reason for the dissolution was given as: "Ineffective business operations".

The company’s headquarters is located on Tran Huy Lieu Street (Phu Nhuan Ward, Ho Chi Minh City). This was also the location used by Mailisa as a vocational training facility, gathering many students from different provinces to study.

Notably, just one day later (October 29), Mr. Hoang Kim Khanh continued to sign the decision to dissolve Mailisa Beauty Salon Service Trading Company Limited (in Phu Quoc, An Giang ). The reason stated in the decision was still the same as the previous case: "Business activities are not effective".

At the time of opening the Phu Quoc branch, Mailisa invited dozens of beauty queens, runners-up, singers... to join in the fun and advertised loudly. At the same time, it introduced this as the 15th branch of the system.

However, according to new information posted in November 2025, on the official Facebook page of Mailisa Beauty Salon (more than 2.8 million followers), the system currently has a total of 9 branches from South to North. Of which, Ho Chi Minh City has two branches, the remaining localities have one branch each ( Hanoi , Nghe An, Da Nang, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Lam Dong and Can Tho).

Thus, the newly updated data on Facebook shows a significant decrease compared to the information on the website - where the advertising business has up to 17 branches and is present in all major cities.

According to the entire chain of beauty salons' website, Mr. Hoang Kim Khanh is introduced as the CEO, "the person who laid the foundation for the sustainable development of the Mailisa system". Meanwhile, Mrs. Phan Thi Mai (wife) holds the role of CEO, "the aesthetic expert who directly supervises the professional quality at all branches".

Money-making formula: Doing aesthetics and selling cosmetics

With decades of development, Mailisa has gradually become the largest chain of beauty salons in the country, with thousands of employees. The company claims to serve "16 million real customers who always trust and choose".

Mailisa currently offers a wide range of aesthetic services, ranging from tattooing to more invasive techniques. Among them, cosmetic tattooing includes eyebrow, lip and eyelid tattooing. The skin treatment section focuses on common problems such as melasma, freckles, age spots, pitted scars and acne.

In addition, the facility also performs a number of surgical and minor surgical services such as: eyebrow lift, double eyelid creation, lip reduction, nose lift, chin augmentation... In addition, there are also beauty services such as botox injection, filler, meso implant and rejuvenation treatments, intensive skin care according to the advertised aesthetic chain.

Through social networks, Ms. Phan Thi Mai has shared many times that instead of just renting prime locations, she has proactively made efforts to buy many real estates to open beauty facilities. This method helps reduce operating costs and maintain more reasonable service prices.

She affirmed that Mailisa does not exaggerate the quality of service, customers are provided with "branded goods - affordable prices". Thanks to that, the branches in the system attract a large number of customers.

Notably, the Mailisa system also sells a series of cosmetics with advertisements that are trusted by millions of women because of their real quality and real value. Among them are cosmetics such as creams to help improve melasma, freckles, brighten, regenerate skin... which are advertised for sale at prices ranging from 1.2 to 3.5 million VND/set.

Many customers after using beauty services are also advised to buy additional cosmetics. In addition to direct sales channels at branches, the system also sells products through online platforms and regularly livestreams on Facebook, TikTok... These livestreams attract a large number of viewers, mainly female customers.
