Famous milk tea chain in Ho Chi Minh City suddenly announced the closure of the entire system

(Dan Tri) - After 14 years of operation, the Hot&Cold milk tea chain announced the closure of the entire system from June 30. The information surprised and saddened many customers in Ho Chi Minh City.

Recently, the Hot&Cold milk tea and skewer chain - one of the major milk tea brands in Ho Chi Minh City - announced that it will stop operating the entire system after 14 years of business. The information was posted on the official fanpage, attracting attention from followers.

“This is the hardest letter we have ever written. Hot&Cold will cease operations and officially end its journey on June 30,” the brand representative wrote in the announcement.

Founded in 2011, Hot&Cold started from a small store and has grown to more than 65 branches nationwide. During its peak, the system had more than 80 stores in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Can Tho, My Tho, Ben Tre , Da Nang... This milk tea brand is associated with many young customers, students.

The post attracted tens of thousands of interactions. Some customers shared memories and made plans to meet up to visit the shop again in the final days.

“My childhood was spent here. Goodbye,” one social media user commented. “Why did you close? You guys were still doing well. So sad,” another wrote.

Hot&Cold currently has 11 branches in Ho Chi Minh City. Many students have considered this a familiar place for many years.

Ngoc Hien (Binh Chanh District) said Hot&Cold was a part of her student days, often stopping by the shop with her friends after school. "Hearing the news of its closure, I was really sad because a part of my memories is about to disappear," Hien shared.

Previously, in May 2024, another milk tea brand, -18 degrees Celsius, also announced the closure of its last branch after 19 years. This used to be a chain with many stores in central districts of Ho Chi Minh City, at the same time as Alo Tra, Hoa Huong Duong, Tra Sua The Gioi .

However, three weeks after closing, the brand reopened a small store to sell online.
