Program "Zero-dong booth to exchange plastic waste for gifts"

On the morning of December 8, the Women's Union of Ba Ngoi Ward coordinated with the Ward Youth Union to organize the program "Zero-dong booth to exchange plastic waste for gifts" at Suoi Hai Hamlet, Giai Phong Residential Group (Ba Ngoi Ward). This is an activity to celebrate the success of the 1st Provincial Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the 1st Provincial Women's Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Gifts are prepared when people bring plastic waste to exchange.

At the program, local people and students brought 25kg of paper, 31kg of bottles, plastic boxes and 200 used cans of various kinds to exchange for gifts. The organizers collected the above plastic waste and exchanged it for gifts such as: milk, notebooks, clothes, masks, food, instant noodles, blankets, plants... with a total value of 35 million VND. The organizers will sell this scrap to raise funds to buy pens and notebooks to give to disadvantaged students in the ward.
