The 2026 Spring Festival Concert Program "Vietnam - China: Friendly Neighbors"

On the evening of February 7th, at the Ho Guom Theater (Hanoi), the Spring 2026 Concert "Vietnam - China: Friendly Neighbors" was held, celebrating the success of the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and commemorating the 76th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China.

The orchestra and artists of the Central Opera and Ballet Theatre of China performed at the show.

The event was organized by the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam in collaboration with the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security , in cooperation with the Central Opera House of China, Ho Guom Theatre, the Department of International Cooperation (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), Hanoi Opera House, and the Chinese Cultural Center in Hanoi.

The orchestra and artists of the Central Opera and Ballet Theatre of China performed at the show.

Participating in the 2026 Spring Festival Concert "Vietnam - China: Friendly Neighbors" are leading Chinese artists such as Cao Wei, Bian Jiaping, Wang Yiqing, Li Jingjing, etc., representing the elite generation of artists from the Central Opera and Ballet Theatre of China, bringing emotionally rich and high-class artistic performances.

The program also featured impressive performances by Vietnamese artists such as People's Artist Co Huy Hung (moon lute), Meritorious Artist Bui Le Chi (bau lute), singer Do To Hoa, etc., bringing to the audience an emotionally rich musical space where art becomes a bridge connecting souls.

With its tight artistic structure and rich narrative, it takes the audience from the realm of traditional Chinese music to melodies celebrating Vietnamese-Chinese friendship and excerpts from classic operas of the world .

The works selected for the program harmoniously blend the essence of Chinese and Vietnamese music with classic masterpieces from around the world, creating a vibrant cultural exchange. The program includes familiar Chinese classics such as "A Joyful Spring Song," "Where Is the Road?", and "Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai."

In addition, there are melodies of friendship imbued with the sentiment of "sharing the same water, a lasting friendship," such as "Vietnam - China," "The Red River and the Yangtze River flow together into the great sea," "The River of Friendship," along with world-renowned classics like "O Sole Mio (My Sun)" (Italian folk song), "Tonight No One Sleeps" (from the opera "Turandot")... resonating in a harmonious blend of Eastern "flavor" and Western academic beauty.
