At the program, the delegation presented 25 new bicycles to primary and secondary school students with difficult circumstances, whose houses are far from school, to help them more conveniently go to class every day. In addition, 20 scholarships, each worth 200,000 VND also sent to poor students who overcome difficulties, have the spirit of learning, and strive to excel in their studies. The entire cost of implementing the program was sponsored by Pharmacist Thai Thuy Lam ( Ho Chi Minh City), with a total value of 175 million VND.

In addition to receiving scholarships, poor students of Son Lam Primary and Secondary School were also given 25 bicycles, 200 school bags and many essential school supplies, helping them have better conditions for studying.

For the preschool block of Son Lam commune, which still lacks facilities, the delegation donated 60 beds, 60 blankets, 100 pillows, 120 warm clothes, 120 sweaters and many pairs of shoes and sandals so that the children can have better living and learning conditions in the upcoming winter.
Although the gifts are not large in material terms, they contain warm feelings, demonstrating the spirit of "helping each other" and the social responsibility of organizations and individuals towards the border areas of the Fatherland.

The program "Helping children go to school" has become an annual humanitarian activity of the Nghe An Border Guard force, contributing to supporting the path to school of students in the border areas, while at the same time strengthening the strong, warm and affectionate relationship between the army and the people.
