On the afternoon of November 28, the Provincial General Hospital coordinated with the Côtes-d'Armor Organization (France), Tu Du Hospital and Thien An Obstetrics Hospital to organize an international scientific conference on comprehensive updates in reproductive support and gynecological surgery.
At the workshop, delegates listened to Professor, Doctor Nguyen Viet Tien - former Deputy Minister of Health , Director of Thien An Obstetrics Hospital discuss in depth about the contents related to infertility treatment strategies for patients with endometriosis; laparoscopic obstetrics and gynecology surgery techniques. Next, Doctor CKII Nguyen Van Hung - Head of Obstetrics Department, Tu Du Hospital updated the content on diagnosis and treatment of cesarean section scar defect.
The workshop also heard Dr. Véronique Julou - specialist in assisted reproduction, Yves Le Foil Hospital, Saint Brieuc, Brittany and Dr. Martin Blin - specialist in testing, assisted reproduction at HTSS Laboratory, KERAUDREN, Brest, Brittany (France) discuss in depth about ovarian stimulation protocol in infertility treatment and overview of male infertility.
Previously, French experts had coordinated with doctors and nurses of the provincial General Hospital to examine and provide treatment advice to patients and infertile couples through investigation of infertility causes; ultrasound, endoscopy of the uterine cavity for diagnosis and intervention. At the same time, they implemented assisted reproductive techniques such as semen analysis, artificial insemination IUI...; examination and treatment of obstetric and gynecological diseases. Doctor CKII Nguyen Van Hung - Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Tu Du Hospital (HCMC) directly performed surgery and transferred laparoscopic surgery technique to restore cesarean scar (laparoscopic surgery technique to treat infertility) to Ha Tinh Provincial General Hospital.
Organizing scientific seminars and coordinating with experts to transfer technology will contribute to improving the professional capacity of doctors and physicians of the Provincial General Hospital in diagnosing and treating obstetric and gynecological diseases and reproductive support. At the same time, it also creates a foundation for the Provincial General Hospital to build a strategy for in-depth development in the field of obstetrics and gynecology in the coming time.
