
From November 13-15, in Hoi An, Da Nang, the Central Dermatology Hospital organized the National Dermatology Conference 2025 (ANCD2025) and the 3rd Vietnam Dermatology Research Conference (CIDVIII). This is the largest professional scientific event of the Vietnamese dermatology industry, gathering leading domestic and international experts.
The conference is a forum for experts and doctors to exchange knowledge and experience, share updated information in the field of dermatology to bring about effectiveness, ensure patient safety and enjoy the most advanced medical advances.
The conference was attended by nearly 1,500 experts and dermatologists from hospitals and dermatology centers nationwide and international experts from the United States, Japan, France, Italy, Denmark, Sweden, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Laos, Cambodia, etc.

During the 3 days, the conference had 26 scientific sessions, nearly 150 thematic reports, including more than 30 international reports, the content included many in-depth topics such as: Urticaria, vitiligo, hair loss, psoriasis, acne; autoimmune diseases and immune disorders; skin cancer and advances in treatment, aesthetics, laser technology and biological therapy... In addition, there were poster reports introducing research projects and special clinical cases.
In his opening speech, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Huu Doanh, Director of the Central Dermatology Hospital, Head of the Conference Organizing Committee, said that in the context of strong development of world medicine, Vietnam's dermatology industry has constantly innovated and applied many modern scientific and technological advances such as: Laser, stem cells, biotechnology, artificial intelligence in medical examination, treatment and skin aesthetics... These contributions not only improve the quality of treatment for people, but also contribute to affirming the prestige and position of Vietnam's dermatology industry in the region and in the world.

Notably, digital transformation and technology transfer are identified as the core strategies of the dermatology sector. Over the past year, the Central Dermatology Hospital has actively applied science and technology and digital transformation in medical examination and treatment; at the same time, expanding the specialized model to localities. Therefore, at the conference, there were dozens of reports on the application of artificial intelligence in the dermatology sector, including the topic of applying artificial intelligence in the early diagnosis of psoriasis and skin cancer.
The scientific sessions of this year's conference are organized in both direct and online formats on a digital platform, ensuring that doctors who cannot attend in person can still follow and update knowledge in a timely and convenient manner to maximize participation and knowledge dissemination.
