On November 23, on the occasion of his visit to Vietnam to receive the Friendship Medal according to the Decision of the President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Mr. Vladislav Valerievich Shapsha, Governor of Kaluga Province (Russian Federation) took the time to visit the TH Group 's high-tech concentrated dairy farm cluster with the world's largest closed-loop production process in Nghe An (certified by the World Record Alliance in 2020).
Visiting the facilities of the TH Group's high-tech closed production chain, Mr. Vladislav Valerievich Shapsha could not help but be surprised by the rapid development steps, especially the international success of the concentrated dairy farming model applying high technology, closed production from Nghia Dan land under the leadership of Labor Hero Thai Huong. Not only effectively exploiting economic potentials, TH's closed production chain has helped change traditional production methods, attracted the participation of local people and completely changed the face of the vast Phu Quy land.
When the world achieved outstanding achievements in science, technology, and management science, I decided to put data into the entire agricultural model of TH Group. Right from the beginning, we implemented a large-scale industrial dairy farming project in a closed chain from pasture to table.

“We are really impressed by the scale and professionalism here. The application of 4.0 technology from the diet to monitoring the health of each individual cow, ensuring nutrition for cows from food, drinking water, along with the care and production process to produce quality milk products has been carried out by TH in a methodical manner. This is not just breeding, this is the art of care” - witnessing with our own eyes the cows being cared for in a closed, modern and humane process at Cow Farm No. 3 - the “home” of about 7,000 out of nearly 70,000 high-yielding dairy cows imported from New Zealand and the US in the TH farm cluster, Mr. Vladislav Valerievich Shapsha shared.
The Governor of Kaluga province was particularly impressed with the modern cooling system, which helps the cows always feel comfortable as if they were in a temperate climate, as well as the completely closed milk collection process, ensuring absolute purity.

Currently, TH Farm owns the most modern milking systems in Vietnam, in which each system is designed to milk about 3,000 cows/day, with 3 milking shifts and each milking system milks 120 cows/time. "From the time the milk is milked from the cow's udder until it reaches the consumer, it is a perfectly closed cycle, without a single bit of air entering the raw fresh milk, ensuring the absolute freshness, cleanliness, deliciousness, purity and nutrition of TH true MILK products," the representative of Dairy Farm No. 3 informed the working group.
Here, all factors ensure that cow's milk is absolutely safe and hygienic - products are quality controlled at the most optimal level, while at the same time, ensuring labor productivity and reasonable costs.
Visiting the world's most modern fresh milk factory, where drops of pure fresh milk are processed into nutritious, safe products, the delegation witnessed the fully automated production process, with robots operating smoothly and precisely. As an important link in the closed, synchronized fresh milk production process of TH Group, nearly 30 production lines of the factory are managed with the world's most modern measurement and control technology such as Simen, Danfoss, Grundfoss.
Regarding processing and packaging technology, the factory applies technology from prestigious brands such as GEA, Combi (Germany), SACMI (Italy), Tetra Pak (Sweden) and SERAC (France) - the most advanced UHT sterilization technology in the world, ensuring the preservation of the natural flavor and nutritional value of milk. With the largest processing scale in Southeast Asia, TH Fresh Milk Processing Factory has helped promote the development of dairy farming and large-scale clean milk processing in Vietnam.

During this visit, the Governor of Kaluga province and the delegation also had good impressions of the processing line at Nui Tien Pure Water, Herbs and Fruit Factory. The factory has an investment scale of 1,177 billion VND, equipped with 3 production lines with advanced technology, 100% automation, energy saving and environmental friendliness, producing pure water and natural fruit juices, roasted rice water, fruit milk drinks, natural teas... which are especially popular with consumers.
Opening up broad cooperation opportunities, strengthening Vietnam - Russia friendship
The Governor's visit became even more special when TH Group has been investing in a dairy farming and processing project in Kaluga province, Russia, with a total capital of up to 2.7 billion USD in 10 years. Not only was this a chance to admire the successful "prototype" in Vietnam, but it also reinforced the belief in bilateral cooperation.
The investment project of TH Group in Kaluga region is an important component of the overall project of investing in the TH dairy farming and fresh milk processing complex in the Russian Federation. Since the end of 2022, phase I of the TH farm in Ulyanovo district has been completed; The second farm in Khvastovichi district is being designed and will begin construction after the completion of the Ulyanovo farm. In January 2023, TH imported 2,400 high-yielding cows from the US and officially operated the farm.
With modern technology, scientific management and strict operating procedures have created success for the TH fresh milk project in Vietnam. TH's cows in Kaluga currently produce the highest milk yield in the Russian Federation - more than 40 liters/day/cow, some cows produce 104 liters/day, many cows produce 60, 90 liters/day. The milk quality is also outstanding with 4.0% fat and 3.2% protein, the highest in Russia. Before the TH fresh milk factory in Russia was inaugurated, TH's raw fresh milk was rated "first class" and was purchased at good prices by major companies in Russia such as Danone, PepsiCo...
On May 11, 2025, TH inaugurated the TH Fresh Milk Processing Factory, witnessed by General Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam To Lam and Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Chernyshenko. The factory has a capacity of 1,000 tons/day, of which phase 1 is 500 tons/day, among the factories with the leading processing capacity in the Russian Federation. Designed with leading technology by Bilfiner Tebodin of the Netherlands and GEA of Germany; constructed by CBMI Sinoma China - China's leading state-owned construction company, the factory is equipped with processing, bottling, packaging and automation equipment lines of the world's leading brands from Germany, Sweden, Norway, Japan, Türkiye, China...
The products of TH Fresh Milk Processing Factory in Kaluga are very diverse, from traditional Russian products such as pasteurized fresh milk, sterilized milk, Smetana, Yogurt, Kefir, Ryazhenka, butter, cheese, cream... to non-traditional products, but following the trend of the times to protect health against non-communicable epidemics (obesity, cardiovascular disease, diabetes), meeting local tastes combined with TH's special creations.
“Not only serving the Russian domestic market of nearly 145 million people, TH true MILK products produced in Russia also aim to export to regional and international markets such as BRICS and Asia-Pacific. The Group also aims to develop organic products according to international standards in Russia,” said Mr. Ngo Minh Hai - Chairman of the Board of Directors of TH Group.

He also shared that TH will invest in the most modern technology and a systematic lab system at the farm and fresh milk processing system in Kaluga to ensure the strictest process from checking raw materials, input feed, milk quality; at the same time, consider investing in building an artificial insemination technology lab (IVF) to produce the best quality cows.
TH has now taken over 20,000 hectares of arable land in Kaluga and has started reclamation and cultivation on an area of 8,000 hectares with high-yield livestock crops such as wheat, barley, corn, alfafa grass, ryegrass... Hundreds of local people who previously left for the city to find work have now returned to work happily in their hometown. TH also pays great attention to community activities by regularly sponsoring local festival events, giving gifts to children from poor families on Russian New Year occasions, supporting road cleaning machines, road repairs...
The visit of the Kaluga delegation to TH Group has ended, but opened a new, brighter chapter in economic cooperation between the two countries. It proves that, with technology, passion and kindness, "green dreams" can reach far and connect distant lands. At the end of the visit, the Kaluga Governor expressed his deep confidence in the strategic partnership between TH and Kaluga, especially in the field of high-tech agriculture.
We clearly see the vision and seriousness of TH Group. What we have witnessed here has strengthened our belief in TH's project in Kaluga, the success that TH Group has achieved in Vietnam is being replicated in Kaluga. The Kaluga provincial government will fully support this cooperation so that it not only has economic significance, bringing clean fresh milk products to the Russian people, but also becomes a beautiful symbol of the increasingly strong Vietnam - Russia friendship.
