A girl from Khánh Phúc village, Hợp Xuyên district, Chongqing city (China), nicknamed Daidai, recently posted online seeking people to help her family slaughter a pig on January 11th.
"Because my parents are getting old and not in good health, we want to find someone to help them. I promise to prepare a feast to entertain anyone who can come," the girl said.

But Daidai didn't expect that after her article, in just two days, the total number of people flocking to the small village would exceed 10,000. At its peak, more than 4,000 people came at once, setting up a total of 300 food stalls.
Overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of unexpected strangers, Daidai livestreamed the entire bustling scene of her village, attracting over 100,000 online viewers.
"I caused a huge problem with the villagers. But the way everyone showed me really surprised and moved me," the girl said.
Speaking to Jimu News, Daidai said that a few days ago, her family planned to slaughter two pigs they had raised at home for the Lunar New Year celebration. Wanting more help, she came up with the idea of posting a message online to find people to assist. Along with that, she publicly shared her family's address.
Unexpectedly, tens of thousands of strangers flocked to Khanh Phuc village, searching for Daidai's house. The family's pig-slaughtering party turned into a grand village feast. The small village became famous, the center of attention.
Reportedly, in addition to the two pigs belonging to Daidai's family, there were three more pigs donated by villagers to entertain visitors from afar.
Around 11 PM on January 12th, as the crowd thinned out, Daidai appeared with a tired but joyful expression. She explained that she was just an ordinary girl, unknown, but had unexpectedly received so much love and support from everyone.
Following this incident, her account attracted over 1.7 million followers.

A local resident revealed that the village had never seen so many people. On January 11th and 12th, all the snacks in the village's shops were completely sold out.
Mr. Zhang, a roasted chestnut vendor, upon hearing that his village had suddenly become crowded with customers, quickly drove over 100km to return in time to sell his goods. In one day, he sold over 50kg of chestnuts, earning 2,000 yuan (over 7 million VND).
Ms. Giang Tieu Yen, one of the chefs with 16 years of experience, revealed that she has to work continuously for 12 hours to be able to serve dishes to guests on time.
Just the amount of rice needed to cook the meal was about 500kg, and the cooking oil exceeded 300 liters. In addition, the pickup truck was full of vegetables, not to mention the enormous amount of spices consumed.
Besides curious tourists, many people took the opportunity to capture the scenery of the countryside and Daidai's house. Visitors crowded the rice paddies, sharing in the atmosphere of the upcoming Lunar New Year in the village. Those who came to help slaughter the pig said they came here to relive their childhood memories.
From a single online message, the event unexpectedly ignited the enthusiasm of thousands of strangers, transforming into a village festival. Local cultural and tourism authorities also stepped in, mobilizing personnel to provide support throughout the night to ensure safety.
On January 12th, representatives from the culture and tourism department of Hexuan District stated that this incident was not staged or pre-planned. The local authorities were also surprised by the level of attention the incident received.
