Creative teacher, dare to think, dare to do

Dedicated to her profession and creative in her teaching and working methods, Ms. Dinh Thi My Trinh - Art teacher at My An Secondary School (My An commune, Tay Ninh province), is not only loved by her colleagues and students but also recognized for her outstanding achievements at work.

After graduating from the Fine Arts Pedagogy major at Long An Pedagogical College, with a passion for teaching and a desire to improve her knowledge, Ms. Trinh continued her university studies. According to Ms. Trinh, studying is a way for teachers to both improve their knowledge and find many methods to inspire their students' love of art.

Having been in the profession for more than 13 years, Ms. Trinh confided: “I chose to be a teacher because I love drawing and want to spread that love to many generations. I always hope my students understand that Fine Arts is not simply a subject but also a beautiful way of life when we know how to feel, think and express emotions. Each painting, each product is a way for students to express their feelings about life.”

In each lesson, Ms. Trinh focuses on training skills combined with life value education , helping students to perceive and appreciate the beauty in everyday life. She often incorporates familiar examples, encouraging students to express their thoughts through each drawing, making each lesson more engaging and lively. Thanks to her gentle and flexible teaching style, students are always interested in the lesson and more confident in expressing their personal ideas.

In addition to her teaching experience, Ms. Trinh is constantly researching and studying to improve her teaching methods. Many of her initiatives have been recognized and replicated, such as Measures to help students improve their creative thinking ability in 8th grade Fine Arts, Organizing creative experiential lessons through environmental paintings, Promoting students' aesthetic ability through group activities. Among them, Ms. Trinh is most satisfied with the initiative of Applying recycled materials in teaching Fine Arts.

“This initiative is not only linked to the new education program but also helps students develop awareness of environmental protection. From seemingly discarded objects, students can create valuable works of art, that is the message I want to convey,” Ms. Trinh shared.

In addition to her flexible initiatives in teaching, Ms. Trinh has also achieved many outstanding achievements such as being recognized as a grassroots Emulation Fighter for many consecutive years, achieving the title of Excellent Teacher at the district level (formerly), and being a Party member who has excellently completed her tasks over the years. With her efforts in innovating teaching methods and nurturing students, Ms. Trinh was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for her excellent performance in completing her tasks for 2 school years (2023-2024, 2024-2025) and having 2 initiatives recognized for their influence at the grassroots level.

Not only is she passionate about her job, Ms. Trinh is also an active woman in life. In addition to teaching, she started a flower shop and participated in movements launched by the Commune Youth Union. Her actions have spread the spirit of dedication and positive lifestyle to students and colleagues./.
