Ms. Tran Thi Tuong Giao, Principal of Truc Xanh Kindergarten, chaired a professional meeting with the school's management board and subject departments.
From the very beginning of her managerial role at Truc Xanh Kindergarten (school year 2017-2018), Ms. Tran Thi Tuong Giao identified the application of information technology as the key to improving management efficiency, reducing pressure on teachers, and increasing transparency in professional activities.
At a time when many preschools were hesitant to adopt digital software, Ms. Giao proactively researched and implemented solutions for managing data, child records, nutrition, and operations through a specialized software system.
One of the highlights was her introduction of software for managing children's health records and tracking their nutrition, ensuring that data is always up-to-date and accurate, significantly reducing errors in reports and statistics. At the same time, she directed teachers to use lesson design software to create visually engaging and lively lesson plans, helping children access knowledge more easily.
Recalling the early days of adopting technology, Ms. Giao shared that it was not an easy period. "The biggest difficulty was changing habits, but when teachers saw the effectiveness and the work became easier, they gradually came to love using technology. That's when I understood that if I took the lead, the whole team would follow," she confided.
A specific initiative that clearly demonstrates her influence is the development of an online management system for teachers' professional records. Each lesson plan, activity plan, and evaluation form is digitized and stored on the internal system, allowing the school administration to closely monitor progress and creating a shared resource library for the entire school. This not only saves time but also fosters a professional and systematic work ethic among the staff.

Having dedicated over three decades to her profession, Ms. Tran Thi Tuong Giao (on the left) still maintains her passion and creative spirit.
Building upon her foundation in technology applications, Ms. Tran Thi Tuong Giao has developed a rich and practical system of initiatives. Between 2020 and 2025, she had 10 recognized initiatives, including 3 at the provincial level, demonstrating her research and innovation capabilities closely aligned with practical needs.
One of the outstanding initiatives is the "Solution to support teachers and parents in preparing 5-6 year old children for first grade." According to Ms. Giao, this solution helps children prepare mentally and fosters close cooperation with parents in the educational process. As a result, children are confident and adapt well when entering primary school.
In parallel, Ms. Giao is also a pioneer in guiding and implementing the integration of STEAM into teaching activities and organizing English language familiarization for children at school.
Another initiative is a solution to improve the efficiency of managing private preschools in the area. This solution supports education management agencies and local authorities in managing private facilities, enhancing professional expertise, creating a practical environment to narrow the professional gap, and gradually raising the professional standing of private institutions. The effectiveness of this solution lies in the direct professional support from public schools, which in turn leads to the development of both the quantity and quality of facilities in the private preschool system.
With her teaching staff, Ms. Giao always encourages each person to develop at least one professional initiative or solution annually, creating a positive competitive environment.
According to Ms. Hoang Thi Chin, the school's Vice Principal, thanks to Ms. Giao's guidance, the teaching staff has boldly applied information technology and AI to their professional activities, thereby saving time, increasing creativity, and improving the quality of education in all grade levels.

Ms. Tran Thi Tuong Giao is implementing the thematic project "Building a child-centered preschool" for the period 2021-2025. She closely monitors the activities of childcare and the development of children at the school.
Evaluating Ms. Giao's contributions to the local education sector, Mr. Bui Trung Tuyen, Head of the Culture and Social Affairs Department of Rach Dua Ward, Ho Chi Minh City, stated that Ms. Tran Thi Tuong Giao is a dedicated and capable administrator, a pioneer in innovation. Her initiatives and models have not only brought effectiveness to Truc Xanh Kindergarten but have also positively influenced other kindergartens in the area.
With over three decades dedicated to her profession, Ms. Tran Thi Tuong Giao has maintained her passion and creative spirit. From pioneering the application of technology to building a rich system of initiatives, she has affirmed her role as a dedicated and capable leader, contributing to the development of local preschool education. For her achievements and contributions, Ms. Tran Thi Tuong Giao was honored with the Second Class Labor Medal by the President of Vietnam.
