With the theme "Connecting for Prosperity - Welcoming a Glorious Spring," the first Spring Fair in 2026, held at the Vietnam Exhibition Center, became a "destination" for trade, a "space" for professional trade and investment promotion for people and businesses.

More than just a shopping event during the Lunar New Year, the first Spring Fair 2026 is expected to make a significant contribution to stimulating domestic consumption, promoting the circulation of goods, supporting businesses and traditional craft villages, thereby creating momentum for economic growth right from the first months of the year.

The fair also serves as a space to promote the image of a dynamic, creative Vietnam, rich in cultural identity, to people at home and international friends. The convergence of Vietnamese goods, Vietnamese culture, and the Vietnamese spirit in the atmosphere of the New Year is expected to spread confidence, aspirations for development, and integration.

Domestic and foreign businesses have also shown great interest and expectations for the first Spring Fair in 2026, considering it an important "meeting point" to showcase their capabilities and products, seek partners, and expand export markets, especially in the context of the increasingly urgent need to increase added value and affirm Vietnamese brands.

By participating in the trade fair, businesses not only expect to promote their products but also hope that the fair will bring in specific orders, contributing to increased sales and boosting production and business. From there, businesses will have more motivation to expand their scale, enhance their competitiveness, and contribute to the country's high growth targets.

Since the opening of the fair, thousands of people from Hanoi and surrounding areas have visited to browse and shop for essential products for their families in preparation for the traditional Lunar New Year.

This morning, February 6th, from early morning, many convoys of vehicles carrying retired people and residents from all over flocked to the Spring Fair to shop, visit, and experience the unique local culture at the Spring Fair.

Ms. Vu Ngoc Lan, currently residing in Hoa Lu City, Ninh Binh Province, shared: “This is my third time visiting this Exhibition Center. Previously, I also participated in the A80 Exhibition, the Autumn Fair, and other exhibitions. Generally, going to fairs is to access new, high-quality products, and to both sightsee and explore.” Ms. Lan added that with the Lunar New Year approaching, she took the opportunity to shop for many products at the fair to meet her family's needs during the holiday. At the fair, the goods are abundant and their origins are clear, so people feel quite confident in their choices.

Besides shopping in person, Ms. Lan also saves the addresses and contact information of reputable vendors so that she can easily connect with them and place orders for home delivery when needed. For Ms. Lan, going to fairs is not just about buying goods, but also an opportunity to visit, experience, and learn about many new, high-quality products from different localities. That's why I really enjoy going to fairs and regularly follow them to participate whenever there's an opportunity.

Ms. Lan assessed that the scale of this year's Spring Fair was truly magnificent, far surpassing the previous Autumn Fair. The fair space was well-organized and spacious, creating the feeling of a miniature painting of regions across the country. The fair not only showcased and introduced local specialties and typical products of each province and city, but also became a place for the convergence and dissemination of regional culture.

Here, visitors can clearly feel the rustic and authentic atmosphere of the Mekong Delta through the arrangement of stalls, local products, and the stories of the people. Alongside this is a nostalgic recreation of old Hanoi , evoking the traditional and refined values of the capital city.

Interwoven within this overall picture is the image of a dynamic and modern Ho Chi Minh City, representing a spirit of continuous innovation and development. This blend of products, culture, and emotion creates a unique appeal, making the Spring Fair not just a shopping destination, but also a truly impressive cultural experience.

Meanwhile, Ms. Nguyen Thi Dung from Bo De ward, Hanoi, said she arrived at the fair by motorbike taxi and a bus ride. The journey was generally quite convenient, although it involved taking a detour through several streets. Upon arriving at the fairgrounds, the organizers provided free electric carts to transport visitors from the entrance to the exhibition area, which was very convenient for the elderly and large families, creating a friendly and thoughtful atmosphere right from the reception.

According to Ms. Dung, she and her friends went to the fair mainly for fun, considering it an early spring outing, both sightseeing and enjoying the cultural and artistic activities organized throughout the fairgrounds. Besides that, they also took the opportunity to shop for goods for Tet (Lunar New Year). In reality, there's no shortage of Tet goods in the market today, but going to the fair offers a completely different feeling, as they can see many products from different localities in one space, shopping and learning more about regional products at the same time.

Ms. Dung highly appreciated the clear and transparent pricing at the fair. Many stalls offered practical promotions, such as "buy 5 get 1 free" for sticky rice cakes, "buy 3 get 1 free" for chicken feet, creating a lively shopping atmosphere. In particular, the fair featured many products such as tea, ginseng, and cordyceps, all with clear information on origin and source. The goods were strictly controlled by government agencies, so consumers like her felt very secure and didn't worry about encountering counterfeit or fake products when shopping at the fair.

The Spring Fair 2026 is not only positioned as a national-scale trade promotion event, but also as a space to disseminate economic, cultural, and creative values, contributing to promoting the image of a dynamic, integrated, and distinctive Vietnam at the beginning of the new year.
