Real estate stocks surged strongly, VN-Index surpassed the 1,600 point mark

On November 12, green dominated the Vietnamese stock market. Cash flow poured into pillar stocks, especially real estate stocks such as VIC, VHM and VRE, helping the VN-Index to have the strongest increase in the past month. At the end of the session, the VN-Index increased by 38.25 points to 1,631.86 points.

Market liquidity increased compared to the previous session, with total trading volume on the three floors reaching more than 850 million shares, equivalent to a total trading value of more than VND24,147 billion.

Foreign investors continued to net sell on all 3 floors more than 465 billion VND, focusing on codes VCI (197.48 billion VND), HDB (170.74 billion VND), VIX (150.19 billion VND), STB (134.26 billion VND), TCX (95.99 billion VND)...

In the opposite direction, the codes that were net bought a lot in this session included VIC (257.53 billion VND), HPG (115.39 billion VND),FPT (114.99 billion VND), MSN (89.12 billion VND), VNM (82.87 billion VND)...

On the HoSE floor, the order matching value this session increased compared to the previous session, reaching more than 19,413 billion VND.

This session, the codes that contributed positively to the VN-Index increasing by 24.54 points included: VIC, VHM, TCB, FPT, VCB, VRE, MBB, GEE, VPB, HVN.

On the contrary, the codes that negatively impacted the VN-Index by 0.21 points included: BHN, TCX, BCM, ACG, PAN, VCI, TDP, BBC, ICT, CRE.

* At the Hanoi Stock Exchange, the HNX-Index closed at 264.79 points, up 3.71 points (+1.42%). Liquidity reached a total of more than 67.48 million shares transferred, with a corresponding trading value of more than VND 1,454.82 billion. In the whole market, there were 103 stocks increasing in price, 52 stocks remaining unchanged and 44 stocks decreasing in price.

On the UPCoM market, the UPCoM-Index closed at 119.03 points, up 1.18 points (+1%). Market liquidity, total trading volume reached over 25.39 million shares, corresponding trading value reached over 546.77 billion VND. * At the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange, the VN-Index closed up 38.25 points (+2.4%), to 1,631.86 points. Liquidity reached over 757.59 million units, equivalent to a trading value of over VND22,145.73 billion. The entire floor had 268 stocks increasing, 36 stocks remaining unchanged and 58 stocks decreasing.

The VN30 Index increased by 50.67 points (+2.78%) and stopped at 1,872.27 points. Liquidity reached more than 348.4 million units, equivalent to a trading value of more than VND 11,936.53 billion. The VN30 group of stocks ended the trading day with 29 stocks increasing, 0 stocks remaining unchanged and 1 stock decreasing.
